Hi all,

I have an imported 2003 SC430 Soarer and I am having a problem with the cruise control and speedometer dropping off (not working) whilst driving.

Information from my local garage after a diagnostic test is that I have a problem with one of my wheel speed sensors.

Although the "Bosch" diagnostic meter he used cannot go deep enough to identify which wheel sensor is faulty.

Lexus garage advises cost of new sensor to fix £400???? My local garage says b........ridiculous.

Any help please?

Or am I over the proverbial barrel with Lexus garage!

Does anyone know where I can purchase Haynes Workshop Manual for my 2003 Lexus SC430? Also on a different subject, does anyone know how to get the disc out of my Alpine Sat nav?

I have been a member on here since I bought my Lexus/Soarer 430, year 2003; import model last March. I have had to register again using my Facebook account as I could not sign in!

I have had my Lexus since March 2012, lately I have had some weird electronic glitches:-

1. When I first drive off the speedometer does not register until the doors automaticaly lock and just lately this can be in excess of 30mph. Any ideas.

2. Also my side mirrors do not full extend automaticaly.

On the subject of my Alpine sat nav.

I have never had any sucess in making it operate properly with remote control or manually and cannot retrieve the disc in order to install update

Any help on these much appreciated.
