I've got the F-Sport with all the trimmings demo car from head office, if I bought the basic SE-L model I would have been disappointed but with all the gadgets it's excellent, oh my last car was a remapped 535d touring, expensive to run doing 12k a year 24mpg (country lanes and B roads mostly.

This is my first adventure to Lexus and it delivers what I ask for, 57 mpg, free road tax and only £166 to insurer as my daily drive to work but has the luxury's I want.

With all these savings I now have a e36 M3 convertible in the garage for the weekends, quids in!!!!

Yes fully agree, the reversing lights are shocking. I would also recommend you get rid if the 'fried egg' look from the rear indicator bulbs, will look so much better and this is my next job.

I fitted an aftermarket kit at the weekend, 8000K bulbs for a bluer look but the light is reduced.

Fairly straight forward to fit as per the instrustions, I removed the plastic cover over the radiator and air intake brackets for ease of access.

Took about 45 mins to complete.

Looks fanstastic at night and matches the LED rear numberplate lights I fitted too!!!!

Excellent and many thanks. I tried to remove the leather pads but was frightened in breaking any hidden clips.

Do you pull 'up' or 'away' from the console?

Hi, had my CT now for 1 week (16K) and the reading was 53.9mpg on A roads / country lanes and town driving covering 50 miles a day never going above 60mph.

After filling up yesterday on the same route and switching the Air Con off the mpg has lept up to 58.6 on the same route and conditions! OR is my driving adjusting to the car to bring more savings?

Where I used to let the engine brake before entering corners or slowing down I've had to come off the gas well early and let the car coast because its as if the car is Neutral and you enter a corner well too fast, had 2 frights already....

I was never expecting 60+mpg but if I can maintain 58 then I will be well happy.

I've just changed from a DMS tuned BMW 535D touring (343bhp), that returned 26mpg on the same route so saving myself a fortune in fuel, insurance and road tax. With the savings and a small outlay I shall buy E36 M3 to satisfy my need for speed...
