the strainer is exactly like a filter it is part number 35330-30070 and is for the is200 also

Yes, I do mean ECT PWR button - when do you actually turn it on? I know it makes the gearchange quicker and i guess it uses more fuel than without, but just want to make sure from other drivers out there of the IS 300.
Will get my fluid checked. I phoned my main agent to get a flavour of cost, they said it will be £85 (I guess plus fluid cost) to get it done. Apparently it doesn't have a filter but a seive - is that correct?

the is300 has a oil strainer i recently changed the fluid and strainer on my is300

and i bought the car just 4-5 months ago traded a 2001 us spec is300 to a fully loaded 2004 euro spec limited is300
and it would be a little difficult to take a look at it since i live in iceland...

i have the swift racing intake in my car and it is incredible i bought it fitted to the car but i had another is300 and it completely transforms the car.

these wheels are 18"x8,5 but mine are 18"x7,5

the car is a 2004 and has done 167.000 kilometers or a bit over 100.000 miles
i changed it myself and it made changes much smoother
but i decided to change it because the oil was so thin and smelled burning
