  1. Yeh, that's what I have done and unless I adapt the box to fit will just keep in storage until the car is traded in and either use the space saver on the next car or sell it if it doesn't fit.

  2. Ordered the tray. Cost £150 and turned out to be polystyrene dyed black. Outrageous, and as suggested did not allow the original flooring to sit right. Have returned for refund and adapted space by arranging tools etc around the spare and storing car cover etc on top so that floor rests on that. Not ideal but looks a lot better and cost nothing. Come on Lexus, you can do better than this!

  3. Thanks very much for that. Will make enquiries with my dealer. I suppose another option would be to cut the floor out of the existing tray and refit with fibre glass to allow it to fit over the wheel?

  4. "On my journey to work which is just over 7 miles I got an incredible 77.7 MPG as per attached photo. This was in normal mode and the Air Con on Auto. The overall trip when I took it back to the dealership was 66.7 MPG which is outstanding. I guess my very sedate driving style really suits the Hybrid drivetrain, much better than the 30 MPG I get in my 1.6 auto." (Steppy 22/7/12

Wow! What is your secret? Not getting anywhere near that!

  5. Bought my ex demo CT a month ago and although instrument says average MPG 48 calculation from petrol in and miles covered makes it more like 40mpg! Not too good given the advertising blurb!
