  1. Well everyone,

The time has come for me to say goodbye to you all and also thank you for your help and advice over the past two years.

It was good to meet a few of you at shows and I have to say, I have not seen a better bunch of friendly people. (I suppose I have to say that don't I?).

The reason is that I have bought a Nissan 350z (pick it up Friday) and will be selling my Lexus soon.

If anyone knows of poeple having big problems with the 350z - don't tell me - I've bought it and it's too late. :hehe:

    Once again, thanks everyone.

    Neil :D

  2. OK......I give up!

I have spent around an hour looking for a thread on this site to find the correct 'H' value for the Main, Beam and Front Fog lights on an IS200.

I am going to buy the sets from http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ and remember that the fog lights are different on the '03 models.

The database on the above site only lists '99 onwards' and suggests that the buld is the same as the Main Bulb which I think is wrong?

Can you clever g*ts give me the 3 types of bulbs I am in need of please?

I'm having the Blue ones by the way (can't afford the proper HID's at the moment!).

    Many thanks

    Neil

  3. Hi All

    I am in need of 4 new tyres - 225/40 ZR18 92Y for my IS200.

I fancy the Goodyear F1's but my local garage want to charge £160 per tyre.

I am going to look around and I wondered what you would recommend?

    I would appreciate your help.

    Many thanks

    Neil

  4. Just got KazAa Lite and somehow managed to download my fav episode of Scrubs.........but i cant open it on my spanking new computer :angry: ..............it has downloaded but wont play.........any ideas greatfully received :whistling:

    Suggest you use Ares Wills

It's easier and quicker and has very few viruses.

You can search by Album which I find useful.

    Give it a try mate!

  5. OK, just had a think about some bits and bobs and this got me wondering - those of you with the 18" alloys from new, did you get a spare alloy & tyre or is it empty?

I've been having a look and the boot is flimsy when the spare wheel and tool tray are removed - do cars with the aero kit come with that space empty or can you get something to fill the hole?

    Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the new Aero2 kit Lexus are fitting?

I have 5 Chicane 18" alloys with the TTE body kit (aero2). Front and rear bumpers were fitted by Lexus.

There's room for an 18" alloy and tyre if that's what you mean?

Hope I have understood the question :duh:

  7. Well i had a good day, nice to meet you all again.

Lets do that Penrith meet we were talking about real soon.

Dave, your lights look superb mate... quite jealous of the back ones.

What have you done to your lights then Dave?

    Got any pictures matey?

    Neil

  8. You have misunderstood. It will detect stationary objects, just your vehicle needs to be moving. Basically the object needs to be moving in relation to the aerial. So either the object or your vehicle or both need to be moving to get a detection.

How about the under bumper sensors kit on the same site?

    Under Bumper Sensors

You get a display with it as well?

Only problem I can see (which is making me think twice to buy it for myself) is that if you have a low bumper - will it detect the car bumper (closest point to you car) or objects underneath e.g. wheels (this is not the nearest object?)

    Still tempting though :winky:
