  1. Thanks chaps.

Interesting results. After typing my reg in on What Car - it came up with the SE model, but also an SE MultiMedia which mine is. Autotrader didnt appear to check for Multimedia.

    Autotrader - 6k

What Car - 7.5k SE Multimedia

    6.9k SE

Also, I'm guessing (I'm gonna be biased naturally) that Autotrader wants you to sell a little bit cheaply so cars sell quick - and hence you keep coming back to sell on AT in future :)

Did you try any of the others that I mentioned?

When I sold my 220d I didn't have any joy using AutoTrader, I sold it via the classifieds on eBay in the end. Quite cheap that was.

Which others? I'm not gonna try webuyanycar - they just take the biscuit so they can sell for a serious margin.

  3. Hi

I have something similar - 4 or 5mm in middle but 1.0 on inner!

So now I need new tyres and also Lexus are wanting £99 for four wheel alignment - are we saying that they are going to apply incorrect settings again?

    Thanks.

  4. Guys

Saw a couple of drops of something on the cup holder panel....went to wipe them away and the whole thing just smudged and came off!

Offending liquid could only have been either Ginger beer :), antibacterial handwash, or some aftershave - really dont remember though - guessing it must have been on for a while and settled in?

Any thoughts on how to fix please?

Obvious would be to replace? How about some of that carbon wrap - I wouldnt know where to start however!

    Thanks!

  5. @Immortalteh

The reader I bought was this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Engine-READER/dp/B004KL0I9I/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1373983795&sr=8-1&keywords=elm+327

It works perfectly with the car and has no lag at all only a few seconds delay in pairing but you get this anyway with bluetooth.

To install, just plug the device into the ODB2 connector in the drivers footwell. It sits somewhat in line with the brake pedal under the dash. You will notice a large rubber cap on it, pull this away and then plug it in.

One word of warning, the device looks small but is about the size of a 20 pack of fags. Dependant on your seating position, you may kick it when breaking or when moving your feet.

With the device, I was still able to have my phone, BT audio and ODB2 reader all connected and functioning at the same time.

    Brilliant, thanks, ordered!

    Actually, second word of warning.....

If, like me, you have you torque, boost, HP gauges (basically anything which makes the gauge move all the time) on display, you will find yourself constantly trying to reach 'higher numbers' and inadvertently driving like an idiot on the road.

Lol, no I'm sure I wont. I'm more worried about resetting any lights/making changes! I hear theres a seperate menu for 'actions' so I will be steering clear of that!
