  1. hi

am looking at measuring the size and shape of the front foglamps to se if they will fit into the rear bumper reflector recess-perhaps with a little fettling

if so will obtain a pair of lamps from a breaker and make you all jealous

i will also hopefully have an unique rx that has effective reversing lights

please dont tell me that the bulbs are illegal i know this and will fit a rheostat to control the brightness in differing conditions

    ,

if you see a cloud of smoke over my home you will know it hasnt worked and those earlier contributors who have night vision eyes and profess not to need reversing lights will be able to say-TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

  2. hi

    im back

the trouble with graphs is that they are obsolete when any component part changes

    ie LPG 69p

the point of LPG is not what it costs but how you feel when you have it

1 nice to put £60 LPG rather than£85 unleaded-good feeling

2 average installation cost is £200 per cylinder-other costs just fatten the bill

3 payback costs-why no allowance for vehicle depreciation in calculations-based on the theory that you would not get your money back-why buy a LEXUS or any vehicle in the first place

4 loss of power-unless you drive on the redline you will not notice any loss of performance

to recap -its agood feeling to have lpg as you notice no difference in vehicle operation except the fuel costs

hope i hgave not upset the diehards but surely the only pleasure these days is enjoying driving your car!

  3. hi

have had a gas con on my rx300 (all my cars have had this surgery) and also found that the boot was full of wheel when the car camr back

went to my local tyre/wheel co and they advised me that the wheel dimension(hub) was 5x114.3x17or18

visited a couple of breakers and picked up a brand new spacesaver for £20

i was told that normally they go in the crusher as no one wants them

dont know what it came off but i think it was an american product

plenty af web sites around advising what models that dimension fits
