Thanks for the advice, but I'm having trouble getting authorisation code from photo bucket. Hopefully someone else will have taken some pics.Easiest way is to join a hosting site like 'photo bucket'. You can upload to there and copy and paste image links in to any forum then.

That's great, how do I post pics, sorry for being a pain.Hi Denise, It was nice to meet you by the way, There should be no problems in you posting your pics.

Hiya again, I've got a few pics from yesterday, but I know there may be a problem with showing reg. no.s from reading previous posts, but I don't know how to block them out. There's only 4 pics, am I ok to show them? I don't want to upset anyone when I was made to feel so welcome yesterday.

Hiya. Hubby and me are really looking forward to Sunday. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the weather is going to be nice. I know this may sound daft, but never having been to a car meet before do we need to bring anything, do anything, what happens, are we having lunch at the pub, is there a cover charge for the meet? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Denise
Has nobody told you, very lax of them on here.
Its £50 each payable to me in advance, can be reduced to £25 each if a bribe of cupcakes is involved, and maybe some bacon butties.
In all seriousness though, Just bring your good selves and the car, thats it. Turn up and have fun, chat with the other attendees.
No need to pay for parking or any kind of subscription. Only thing you pay for is what you get from the pub.
Looking forward to it myself, again as normal
Thanks Maduggo, sounds like a bargain. See you Sunday.

Hi ianc66,
I bought my first SC430 two days ago, I hope you are as pleased with your purchase as I am with mine. I'd love to hear what your first impressions are.
Wish the sun would come out, I'm dying to get the roof down.

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd say hello.
I got my first ever Lexus yesterday and I'm so excited. It's the most beautiful/powerful car I've ever owned. There's alot of equipment, hopefully I'll find out how it all works. Today I've sussed the heating/air con and memory seats. Tomorrow it's the radio/cd player. I could quite happily sit in the car all day with the owner's manual and mess about with all the buttons. I've never had a sat nav before so fingers crossed.
I've been reading up on some excellent tips from this site.
Nice to be here.

Hiya Steve, I'm in awe of how much power there is under the bonnet. I'm taking it very easy.Hello Denise and welcome to the LOC.
Now that must have been a nice surprise, that is the only car to have got the better of me in the LS400, it was co-incidentally from the lights at Oxclose Lane Police station.
We're having a meet at the Plank and Legitt,Sawley very soon, be nice if you could attend, never seen the SC430 at one yet.
I'll have a look for the meet details at the Plank and Legitt. It would be great if me and hubby could make it.

Hello everyone. Yesterday I took ownership of the most beautiful car I've ever owned....... SC430. It's a 2002' silver with black interior. It was a surprise from my husband. A lot different from my Chrysler PT cruiser convertible. I'm looking forward to getting the roof down as soon as the sun comes out.

Much as I want to say it's me, mine is Silver. I've not seen a black one yet. Keep an eye out though, I do go to those areas sometimes. Have you had a chance to get out in yours since you bought it? what colour is it?
This rainy weather is getting on my nerves, as I'm looking forward to the roof down. Although last weekend we did a few junctions of the M1 at midnight, roof down, heaters on and The Who on very loud. it was a lot of fun.
