Thank you.

Ah slow puncture due to nail in tread. Can any tyre place repair with the valve sensor? Have not used the
repair stuff.
Oh for a spare wheel though !!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks - on Bridgestones - wont be changing them yet only done 3500miles so far.

Morning,
Driving in the heavy rain yesterday, quite often the traction control cut in and stability programme worked on bends. Also on trying a quicker stop than usual (no following traffic!) abs worked too.
Seemed rather more than have been used to - are these not too good on wet roads??

Had the alarm go off 3 times recently - middle of the night of course. The only thing I could put it down to was the glovebox was left open as I was reading the handbook. Closed it and slept the rest of the night undisturbed.

How on earth do you get 55.7mpg. Driving on eggshells still struggle to get 52.00 !!!!
-
Even better the SE is zero all the time !! I think :eerrrmm:

Wow, just gone through the roper article......................Not to sure but I think it explains why consumption increases a lot quicker than decreases, so drops to 45ish on a long hill but takes ages to recover back to 50ish.
Nearly 6 weeks use now and find it jolly good. I suppose an average of 50 to 50.5 is ok.
-
Thanks for these figures - I did get 72.6mpg on a 6 mile run after resetting trip. However it normally is still 48 - 51 overall.
Will have to keep trying.............................
-
Saturday night the alarm went off twice - doors all closed. windows too. Afetr opening the drivers door and relocking quiet ever since !!!
So far no rattles - 970 miles....................
-
Had mine nearly a month now. Comfort is good but I am on the 16" wheels. Road noise varies according to surface but it is noisier
than my previous car. On smooth (now where do we find that these days) roads it normally is quiet and refined. Wind noise well suppressed too.
Tried the ASC on max volume but did not notice it !! Perhaps I am deaf..........

Thanks for the tips etc. Try the accelerate harder and lift off and see what I get !!!!
-
Loving it !
However I have noticed some mpg figures on this site, one which said cant get less than 52.
Mine has only done 800 miles so far but have been drinving steadily although in the last week have
used full bore sometimes.
On runs of around 35 miles on A roads I struggle to get 50.00 (best is 51.1).
What am I doing wrong or will it loosen up with more miles.
Mine is an es ES with 16" wheels and pressures on higher for economy.
-
Very comfortable but not really suited for 3 across. Legroom just adequate for adults.
Now in my 4th week - jolly pleased too. :)

I HAVE FOUND IT - Thanks for the help.
As an aside - what happens if a punctured tyre does not blow up with the pump/goo ?
-
Many thanks for the help!!! Will look again :shutit:
-
No, it is 'Tire pressure warning light' Pic of a tyre with an exclamation mark !!
The brochure says they all have them.
Might give the dealer a call - but did not want to appear to daft :hocus-pokus:
-
Loving my 300h - had it 2 weeks now and 412miles.
Trying to find the tyre pressure reset switch - unless the ES does not have one although the
warning light shows on start up.
Anyway 51.1mpg is best average - not easy though have been driving carefully.........seems to be best around 55mph, under that and over 75mph seems to use more unless in EV mode.
Is it best to accelerate with purpose and then ease off??
Sport does make difference - puts a smile on your face.

Delivered Friday pm !!!!!! Done 163miles so far and showing 51.1mpg. Touched 80mph briefly sunday am but otherwise sedate! What a great car to drive - interesting too. Not sure about polishing though, lots of curves etc.........
Have not made much sense of park assist yet however and did not realise no rear centre armrest on SE.
