Hi folks.

My 07 LS 460 starter packed in today. Had a look at trying to replace it myself. But after having a long hard think about it i decided not to. Called my local Lexus garage and they quoted me £900 to supply and fit.Does this sound reasonable. What put me of trying was all the electrics that have to be moved.

Really appreciate the link you sent me but i am having bother getting onto the site. When i get on It gives me 2 options on parts is one the original arm. The car is due its mot soon and its the only part i have real bother sourcing. Is it worth trying breakers.

Just had a quote for a rear offside upper arm ball joint. I called Lexus and they told me if i order it today it would arrive in July at a cost of £575 + VAT. Thought i would just leave it.

Has anyone had any problems with the rear diff on their ls 430. At first I thought it was the rear wheel bearing which i replaced but after further investigations it looks like it is the diff. Does anyone know where you can get them overhauled or can it be fixed by replacing any bearings.

My radio seems to have a mind of its own regarding when it wants to work. It seems like an intermittent fault.

Anyone any ideas.
