Go on Google type in lexus rx 300/350 transmission problems it's an epidemic of transmission problems with them. seems that they made the planetary gear out of aluminium and it wasn't strong enough,causing knock on effect to other transmission parts. seems they changed the planetary gear to steel,, but try getting a answer as to what year they did it!!!!!!!! if anyone knows I'd be grateful.
