IS220D going for repairs - what to expect in Lexus IS 250 / Lexus IS 250C Club / Lexus IS 220D & IS 200D Club Posted April 28, 2016 My 220D has been hit yesterday and the other party accepted their fault. There are deep cuts and dents on the driver & driver side passenger doors. It is going for repairs in few days time and I have been told that the car would be kept there for up to 2 weeks. I am just wondering what to expect - are they going to replace the doors or just repair them and then repaint them? and even if they repaint/ replace the doors, would they repaint the entire car or just the doors? Sorry for asking silly questions but I have never been involved in any collision before so don't know how this stuff works. here are some of the photos of the damage.
