  1. Had a few issues over December, firstly be engine light came on but quickly diagnosed it to the o2 sensor had hit something on the road perks of being low!! Then had the rear light warning indicator and oil pressure light come on at the same time plus the rev counter and mpg meter died! really got me baffled as all lights were working and no signs of burning or low oil pressure after full inspection the cause of this issue was a wet fuse box (passenger footwell) a few connection had gone green etc not great! Anyways all lights not out and dried but since this happened the clock will reset to 1:00 everytime be car is started and the Battery is showing the correct voltage, also radio fuses checked and ideas ??

  3. Fitted my new wheels and with the height my cars sat at it had some scrub on fast corners on weight transfer... answer to my own question is the arches can be fully rolled i was annoyed at the advice given to me hy the garage in saying there wasn't much that could be done besides cutting the arch lips off!! I just used a trolley jack, heat gun and baseball bat! Then some wax oil just to ensure everything was totally sealed...

  4. Was booked in to get my arches rolled at a well known garage in Newcastle, didn't end up getting them rolled as they said they can't roll the fronts the lips need to be cut due to the depth and the rears can only be rolled around 8" in length from the boot side to centre (also my arches are in good condition no rust etc so that wasn't the reason).. Surely this can't be right I've seen enough is200 with rolled arches. Can anyone recommend a solution or know of a good body shop / arch rollers in the north east?

  5. Plus one on the 1gfe not being pretty without its cover! Luckily with reliability don't need to open the bonnet that much though 😜

As for clamps / brackets I used an old metal support off my impreza, you'rs will be different layout but should be fairly easy to design you're own support bracket

  6. There's a lot of debate about induction kits, panel filters, how much power the gain and loose etc..... that discussion belongs somewhere else though :yucky:

I've been wanting to build up a induction kit for a while but as you all know there's not all that much available and It's a rather expensive placebo... So anywhere here's mine fitted obviously it now has clamps on the hoses and a breather filter fitted... If anyone wants measurements or links to the parts just drop me a pm or a can help them build one up, I will be fitting my old Bmc cda later to keep things a bit cooler though....

  7. Went down to Lexus to has a look around and test drive, unfortunately no premier models but had the f sport to test.... Personally for me not the right car, as good as it is it's not really what i had expected from it, I did take a look at the ct300h which I do prefer but comparing this to the CLA we tested the week before i think for are daily we will be sticking to the Germans, price wise they are on par but i think for driving experience and comfort I think Mercedes wins, thanks for all you're input and ps I'm not hating on Lexus I love my lex ✌️

  8. So thinking to trade in the e class for a ct200h for my wife as we both like the styling and interior plus it's a Lexus which I always have love for haha... Just wanted to get some info on what's servicing like for them as I've never had or even looked at hybrids before ? Any niggles and bad bits to look out for?? And anything to try and find with optional extras etc, ideally il be looking for a fsport :yucky:

    Thanks !

  9. Recently fitted meister r zeta crd coilovers and would highly recommend them, I've used bc racing and teins in the past and to me these are far superior for daily use, quality is top notch and fitment spot on, is you roll towards the softer settings they are very comfortable and composed my Mrs hates firm suspension but has yet to complain!! Turn the dial to the harder side and they are great for a track setup! They are slightly more expensive than the basic teins but then they come with top mounts where as the cheaper ones do not, I've had some bad experiences with bc plus the ride was harsh in my opinion so I wouldn't go for them again. Hope it helps
