There are realistically only 2 options - official one which is £600 (or something like that, maybe be £380, but the point is - it will be hundreds), or the chinese one which you can find on ebay for ~£30.
Apart of that there is literally no difference between chinese cables, they may have cosmetic differences, some come in clear plastic, some in clear blue plastic, some are black etc. but they are all the same design running of xhorse.
Thanks bud, don’t suppose you know a decent brand of TPMS sensors? Not OEM. Thanks

Hi Herbie,
Thank you very much for your post and for not giving up on me. I wrote two MacroDroid macros copying yours and this time they worked! Maybe sliding the ON/OFF slider to ON on the MacroDroid homepage may have helped! I got this message during the process:-but I'm running EMUI 12 which is equivalent to Android 10 so it has less chance of being problematic.
We will see if Huawei rejects it at some later date but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
My apologies for not sorting this out when you first advised me about MacroDroid, Herbie, and again thank you very much for reiterating the information.
You mention an intention to buy a TP-Link M7350? Was this a joke? I'm intending to send mine back now that you have helped me get an automated system. I would have thought that 75 Gb of data is going to keep you going for a good few years yet. MY mobile contract is with EE where I get 10 GB a month, not able to be accumulated, for £11. I think that amount of data should be OK unless I want to watch movies on my phone, or on the Lexus come to that.
Right now back to domestic problems - how to fit a 1200 mm shower tray in a room that is only big enough for a 1100 mm one. I have a cunning plan.....
I'll let you know about both the Vline/Huawei phone and the shower tray as time progresses.
Regards,
BarryHi bud, did you ever find a good resolution to this?
thanksh

Morning guys,
I need some advice regarding the Grom vline for my GS430.
The issue is I need a permanent hot spot in the car for the Grom and my dash cam.
I’m having trouble finding something suitable that will work, and that will remain on while the car is turned off (for the dash cam)I’m wondering if anyone has this or something similar setup in their car.
Thanks

Seems a reasonable price. Will it make the car sound better - depends on your definition of better but they should be able to tailor the design to meet your needs.
Thanks bud 👍🏻

My car was sold at copart Chester after being written off, hardly any damage as well. I was very surprised.
if a forum member has bought it, I’ve still got the log book/spare key if you want it. It’s recently had an MOT so I’m assuming it’s back on the round 👍🏻👍🏻

I joined this Club in 2013 when I acquired my first Lexus - a black LS400 Mk IV, with the gold badges and wooden wheel and everything. It only ever let me down once, though that was when I was on my way to my first Covid jab, which was a nuisance. A couple of months later I had a Morrison's home delivery and the first thing the driver said to me was "Is your Lexus for sale?" So I had a think about it and despite failing its MOT (needed new discs and pads all round), he was prepared to pay what I had paid for it back in 2013. So all of a sudden, I was Lexusless but with two grand in my pocket.
So I started to look at other models in the Lexus range. Long story short - yesterday I bought a 2008 RX400h with 107K on the clock, full Lexus service history and everything tickety-boo except the wheels, which I will need to get refurbished. But right now, I'm enjoying being back in a Lexus, back in the Club, and gaining lots of information from all your expert posts.
Welcome back, fingers crossed the timing belt service has been done 🤞🤞👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve just been quoted £1155 for a 3 year essential plan, keep in mind that’s 2 majors and 1 minor.
I also have the extended warranty, once it expires it can be renewed each year for £546 up to 15 years old or 150k miles.

My initial thoughts are that it is rubbish. Neither Bogdan nor his Supervisor have read what is written.
The Hybrid Battery is now covered for 15 years instead of 10.
The new Relax annual warranty needs to be read carefully in the context of the specific Terms and Conditions which relate to problems associated with manufacturing or assembly defects.
Jesus, you’d like to assume they know what there talking about.
thanks for that 👍🏻- 1

Not a snowballs chance in hell Howard. It is costing them too much money.
It`ll be interesting to see how successful members are with claiming under the new Relax system !
I reckon it will be 80% NO and 20% YES, but we shall see. (Pareto rules ! )
Bummer, if they start playing those games they’ll loose a lot of customers. Including myself.

Stick with the Extended Warranty until it expires. It is far, far, better.
I`ve stuck with mine until September 2023 Howard.
Thanks, yes I will do thanks. I can’t even see it on there website any more, do you think you’ll be able to extend it after that?

It's now apparently called: "Lexus Relax" and includes 12 months' warranty, up to 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

Sounds good if your car is under 10 years old and less than 100k. What about if your car is above that? Mine is and at 112k but under Lexus extended warranty.

Hi
I may consider selling my 2011 60 RX450H 112k, black/black leather, just serviced by Lexus and under Lexus warranty 👍🏻

Hi All,
Hope you are well.
Having owned a couple of excellent RX300’s in the past, I am considering buying an RX450h. It’ll be the model from 2009-2012 and must have been well looked after. If you are thinking of selling or know someone who may be, then let me know.
Thanks
Jules.
What’s your budget mate? Pit as must details on here of what spec and mileage you want. You might catch someone’s eye 👍🏻

Lexus labour rates are high and so are some of their parts (whilst some others are reasonably priced). If you have neither the confidence nor the inclination to do the work suggested by Lexus, you could get it done by a well recommended mechanic or garage at less cost. If they can machine the worn disks and still keep them within spec this might also be worth investigating. It would be advisable to fit new OE quality pads at the same time and otherwise new OE quality disks and pads which whoever does the job could fit. The service brake could be sorted out at the same time. Timing of work could be influenced by date MOT is due.
Thanks mate, I had it done in the end. To be fair the foot brake is a lot tighter. Yes I’ll look at that, also Lexus parts direct has a brake set on sale for £139.20 so seems a bargain there.
