  1. I need a new set of shoes anyway so I might just buy the alloys and respective tyres to avoid the stretch

the company is located 30 mins from me so they kindly offered to put a set on and see if I like them going up Tuesday next week

as for for the grill I have ordered one from the U.S. And it's on the way

with the wheels on Tuesday the car is coming along nicely

i will post pics when it's all together

  2. 1200 grit sand paper £1

    2000 grit sand paper  £1

    spray bottle with water £1

    alcohol cleaner £3

    uv clear coat paint £3

This is the stuff that worked for me and looks brand new, it's scary at first but it turns out beautifully

wet sand > alcohol clean > clear coat (uv protected)

you might need a few coats of clear coat to even out the small imperfections but it fills out nicely.

took me 45 mins per light

my advice is to look on YouTube there's plenty of DIY vids that will help out.

  3. Thanks for the replies

I've found a set on amazon of all places will try those and I've also ordered a set from the states so all the bases are covered from the suggested link above (thanks for that) :)

as to the polarity I also watched a video on the subject and I've tried the current set all ways I can,

only 4 of the bulbs work so I      believe it's just a dud set

  4. Hello all

new to the forum after purchasing an is220d the car runs great and looks perfect the only thing that needs doing is the grille and wheels.

    1. Grille, ive seen tutorials on here about changing the stock to the ISf mesh.

i was wondering where I can pick up the part, I've checked eBay and other sites and I can't find it in the Lexus catalogue, just need a little help locating one that's reasonably priced.

    2. Wheels, can I fit 18" on without any issues? I'm completely new to changing stock wheels to aftermarket also can anyone point me in the right direction to look for said wheels as well?

    Kind regards

    kch

    oh also it's a 2007 lexus
