I bought my 66 plate in September and noticed the non-premium Nav was out of date.  Lexus Coventry installed version 02-36-50 when I raised the matter with them.

I agree that the spaces in most supermarkets are too small.  Best in my experience are Costco (US influence I guess) and Morrisons.  Worst offender Lidl.

Had the same problem when I bought my new Exec in September - registered with the portal to check I had the latest version - I did not so tried to download it.  Final screen told me to consult my dealer!  When I did so they agreed to update it without charge (took a couple of hours).

Bought the bits suggested by Alan Plummer and it does indeed work.  Now able to watch TV on the screen via Slingplayer (not whilst driving of course!).  Thanks for both suggestions guys.

I have recently bought an IS300h Exec and am just getting to know its many features.

I understand (page 366 of the Owner's Manual) to play video from my Iphone I will need a special connector "4 pole 3.5mm to 4 pole 3.5mm plus USB male".  See attachment.

Anyone bought one of these or know where I can get one - Google search has bee fruitless so far.

I have just bought an IS300h Executive. Really pleased with my purchase.  Previously had an Audi Q3 Quattro with the fabulous DSG gearbox so I was a bit concerned about the move to CVT.  However the sheer quality of the Lexus and the refined driving experience has more than made up for the dramatic urgency of the Audi.  I opted for Sonic Titanium and as a result had to compromise on the model choice (only an Executive was available immediately in that colour).  It therefore has the basic navigation system.  I cannot seem to play DVDs (checked region etc.) or video from my Iphone (using a four pole 3.5mm jack plug connection).  Does anyone know if my model does not support video?  It plays the sound.

I tried all this in "Accessory" mode with handbrake on and stationary of course
