Rear Suspension Corrosion issues

I reported last November on rear suspension issues that may be a problem when applying for a MOT. My rear brake dust  plates are crumbling somewhat and I cannot find replacements anywhere (but at a extortionate price). Having watched face masks being manufactured with 3D printers recently, some enterprising enthusiast with a printer might make a few bob copying an existing plate or be able to work from a blueprint. Possibly compression on the plastic would not suffice. Just a thought.
