400+ mine wasIt's always going to be cheaper to supply your own parts and get someone to fit, but £570 all round for discs and pads is not bad for a main dealer, certainly not a rip off as far as main dealer pricing.how much would the parts alone be from Lexus, genuine parts?

I assume you supplied the parts? Don't get a lot for £100 these days, I'd assume genuine Lexus parts( warranted) plus labour can't be much less than the op's £570.I got mine done for 100 quid disks and pads. London ratesSent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
Yes mate I did. Parts cost me 177 plus labour 100 quid so 277. Lexus wanted something like the above. Plus I get warranty from Euro car parts so same thing

I have Pagid brake pads and they are not too bad. But well compared to my non existent ones before they are F1 standard. [emoji23]. But also I do not do miles anymore just the odd weekend driving so they are fine.As ken suggested you won't go wrong with brembo.Stay well clear of pagid and don't be tempted by the low price like I was. Terrible squealing. Took them off after 3 weeks and fitted some brembo's. Much better.

Not a gs450h, I have an is250 and installed brembo rear and front and driving makes a lot of difference no more squeaking and grip is super.

If you just bought it surely the dealer should cover this or was it private?HelloI've just become a member. My wife and I recently bought our dream car, the IS 300h. It is also our first Lexus.
I apologize from the onset if topic this has been brought up in the past.
I'm in need of urgent advise. The front and rear disks and pads need replacing as a matter of urgency. Lexus have quoted £570 total.
Due to the connection between braking and the hybrid batteries charging, do I need to give it to Lexus for the work.? Or are there
any independent Lexus specialists who can carry out the work? (for less money).
I live near Kingston (SW London). Any recommendation/advise will be greatly appreciated.
Car details - IS 300h / 2014 / 47,000 miles / Extended Lexus Warranty
Many thanks

Now some after.
1. Changed alloys, exchanged for a returned pair.
2. restored headlights.
3. New brakes and discs all round.
4. And fixed the scuff on the rear passenger side.

Do you have aux? If so get an aux Bluetooth adapter and just stream music off that. Hides nicely away in the glovebox

So I have ML, and Parking sensors but no moonroof and rdcc. Personally I would not have been fussed with no hids but now this is just annoying me. I was planning to keep the car for a year at least or till my B-Day at least in September.
Saying that I am looking on eBay an am seeing some SE-L breaking with no front parking sensors. Another mystery lol

just my addition, mine is a CAT D and very good at 157k miles. if you can get one with the Mark Levinsion sound system and rear shades. never knew how useful those shades where now. i love my IS250 and would be sad to see it go soon.
