Dear Sorcerer
i have done all that but they say nothing can be done. Hence my looking for some answers. In fact my dealers have been very helpful and are still trying to help but if this is a bigger and a wider problem the solution MAY come faster
Just spoke to another friend. He doesn't even know if he has an Adaptive cruise control. Wasn't sure about the speed limit display!!!!
I am seeing him personally to explain what is what!!!!!

Going away from your question
Can I just ask a few simple questions
1. Does your IS300H car have Adaptive Cruise Control
2. Does your car have speed limit display on your map/dashboard
3. Can you "suspend Guidance" by voice control.
If the answer is yes to any of the above questions please reply to enter a dialogue
Thanks

i have just acquired a new premier model but on running the same i find that the Adaptive Cruise Control stops working when the car slows down to 30 mph and needs manual braking
the Speed Limit Display (SLD) for a start does not display on the main map, it only shows on the display on the dash board and shows various speeds from 30 to 140 at random places (90mph on a 30mph road.
The Lexus Centre is at a loss what to do
Do any other drivers of the above car have same problems??
Faults with a brand New IS 300h
in New Members Area

I recently bought a BRAND NEW IS300h Premier from Lexus Leicester. As I started driving, I suddenly discovered that the speed limits it showed were TOTALLY wrong and bizarre. It showed the SL (Speed Limit) as 90 on a 30-mph road, certain areas it was 120 mph or even 140 at times. Then when I tried the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) it went OK and suddenly a heard a warning beep and I had to suddenly put the brake on to avoid a collision with the car in front.
The car was booked in and initially they said that a part needs to be ordered and after a few days I was informed that there is nothing wrong and that the ACC stops working below 30mph.
I had a LS600 which worked perfectly and the car would stop if the car in front stopped. My daughter has a Lexus NX and it works fine in that car too
