  1. You set your cold tyre pressure on existing temperature. The real temperature of tyres will change about 0,1 bar/10 celsius. So if you set tyre pressure  when outside temperature is +20 celsius (cold tyres) the real temperature of tyres is 0,2 celsius lower when outside temperature is 0 (zero) celsius in the morning. I think that the pressure warning is alarming when tyre pressure is decreased about 0,3-0,4 celsius of adjusted temperature. If you dont`t want any false alarms, you have to be careful that every tyre is at the same temperature when you set your TPMS-system. If one tyre is in the sun and the other in the shadow there may be more than 0,2-0,4 diffenrence in the real pressure.

They're deadly quiet compared to the Bridgestones that came off. They used to roar. These barely make a sound and should have been what the IS300h came out of the factory like.

The ride is also much better. They soak up the bumps due to the softer sidewalls despite being XL rated

It is very difficult to compare new tires to old and worn ones! Sure they are more quiet and feel better. Maybe they really are better than few years old Bridgestone tires but the biggest difference is because you compare new  tires to old ones.

    Hi all,

I'm picking up some winter wheels for my IS300h this weekend. They do not have tyre pressure sensors in them, so will the TMPS light on the dash come on every time I drive the car with these wheels or is there a way to turn it off?

    Thanks

There is no easy way to switch the light off. You can put a piece of black tape to cover the light?

  4. That's right, but C-HR is much higher and it has shorter gears and less power. On the highway driving +100 km/h C-HR hybrid's consumption may be bigger than on ISh. On city traffic C-HR has a little bit smaller consumption than on ISh. But the driver and driving habbits are the most important factors also in this case!

    1. Start with the car completely off.

    2. Use the rotary **** on the wiper control to set how many blinks you want. This **** has four positions:

    - 1st (bottom) position = 3 blinks
    - 2nd position = 5 blinks
    - 3rd position = 7 blinks
    - 4th (top) position = no automatic blinks

    3. Hold the wiper lever in the all-the-way-up position, and keep holding it there

    4. With foot OFF brake pedal, press the start button twice so the gauges light up (keep holding that wiper lever up!)

    5. Continue to hold the wiper lever all the way up for a count of 8 or more (if you go too fast you will have to start all over!)

    6. Let the wiper lever come down one position and hold it there for a count of 8 (don't let it go back to the middle, just let it come down one position)

    7. Hold with wiper lever all the way up again for another count of 8

    8. Let with wiper lever come down one position again, and hold it for a count of 8

    9. Let go of the wiper lever. The right turn signal should flash once. If it doesn't, turn the car off and start again at step 1.

    10. Briefly move the turn signal lever down 1 position and let go of it again.

The left turn signal should flash to confirm your setting, but not in the way you might expect. It will blink 1, 2, 3, or 4 times to match where you set the rotary **** on the wiper control, so:

    - 1 flash = set for 3 blinks

    - 2 flashes = set for 5 blinks

    - 3 flashes = set for 7 blinks

    - 4 flashes = no auto blinks

    11. Turn power OFF, then turn on again and test.

It`s done! But point 10. was working different and was blinking just three times. I thought, that I had done some mistake at some point and done it again, many times starting from point 1, and always the same, the left turn signal blinked three times only at point 10.  Then I put power off and back on and test the blinkers and they blinked seven times! Just as I was trying to do! Thank You for your fine advices!

  6. Thank`s for all the answers. Now I know almost all the knobs and buttons in my car! With ASC the car sounds almost like there was a faulty wheel bearing! I traded my 2017 RAV4 Hybrid to this 2018 Lexus IS300H. Atleast Lexus is easier to wash in my garage! I don?t need steps anymore!

  7. Hi

I am new in this forum and going to get my first Lexus IS300H next week. Is the Lexus nav-system same than in my Rav4 Hybrid MY2017? And is the uppdate-process same kind than Toyota has? So, is it possible to uppdate new map-versions by the car owner?
