Just looked at the Beat Sonic....did you find out how it effected the dealer warranty, it looks like a great solution, and the OEM remains in place
Sorry for the delayed reply..been on Mars last couple of months😶....
It works pretty well wirelessly too..regarding the dealer warranty I haven't disclosed it to them..if anything and the car goes in for nav issues I'll just unplug it from the back of the nav..

Couple of days ago I started to notice a damp smell in the boot of my RCF. I removed the styrene moulding, the padding underneath was damp. I dried out and reinstalled. Rain today and it’s wet again. No problem with the rubber plugs and boot seal is intact. Any ideas...???
Did you manage to find the issue on yours?
Little update on mine.. It did happen again took it to the dealer and they've found there were some seals missing or worn around the spoiler arms.. fixed at no cost

Folks
Does anyone have any experience of fitting an Android head to a RCF or similar. I assume it kills the track pad but would happily lose that for an Android Auto interface.
If anyone has fitted one, do they have any pics of install and recommendations to fitters.
I just have a beatsonic installed and can mirror phone wireless on lexus display.. basically you can view anything you pop on the phone..works pretty well..

I'd agree, I had 30K out of my pads and the MOT/ service I had a few months prior, only mentioned the pads as an advisory and said the discs were still healthy.
Also agree..just had mine replaced at 64k miles..front pads and discs although the pads were still good for about half life one of the discs was warped.. Rear discs and pads going strong still ..for now...

Off to the states this summer and plan to pick up some pads and or rotors to save a few quid. Where have people been ordering them from states side?
Decided not to risk on brakes and went for dealer's front disk and pads 700 all in..fronts that is..

Has the car been sitting or riding?
Reason being because a couple of months ago did a long trip in Europe and raining all the time..same happened to me for the first and only time. The lining inside the trunk hatch was damp.
I've figured the water infiltrated through the spoiler "arms"(supporting pillars). Never happened again.. so far🤞

Ok - gave EBC a ring so here it is:
Pads in order of performance: Normal - Green stuff - Red stuff - Yellow stuff
Redstuff RC-F pads have been used in an RC-F race car - not yet used in a road acar as far as EBC know (hence don;t appear in search for RC) but they are very high performance and road legal.
Pads to do the whole front axle (both wheels) are £109.44
Yellow stuff pads are in development if you're thinking of racing or tracking your ***** extension.
Regarding rear pads - there are currently none available but the is a part number allocated meaning once the backing plates have been made rear will be available in red and yellow compounds.
So you should be able to do the whole car in red stuff for about £200 versus Lexus £1200
Looks like I wasted my time getting the brembos from USA but will be interested to see them anyway.
Hi Comedian
Did you sort your brakes finally? Any feedback on your alternative?
Been quoted astronomical price as usual.. any help appreciated.
Thanks
