  1. Thank you.

I think a 37 inch should fit similar to what they did in this 1995 LS400 .

Now its a matter of deciding if single row, double or even triple row LED style.

A single row would perform good enough between the vents. But a taller lightbar filling up the entire vents from top to bottom would perform better although much of the light would get blocked.

I also have to test if a curved lightbar would fit.

All this would go on another thread if I get it to work.

  2. Hello, I have an LS400 in Spain but I don't live there and I am far from the car for a few weeks as it is my holiday car when I go there.

I am just planning on installing a single row LED lightbar behind the grille or in the lower end of the splitter so it would be a stealth mount only visible from the front at a low height or several meters distance. Hard to get stolen when the car stays on the street. And protected from the people who park by sound in front as well. But more importantly it won't ruin the front of the car style.

The car on the picture is just for reference, is not mine.

I want to know the distance right between the arrows in each picture, because behind it and at the same level of the bumper cover there is a steel frame where it would be possible to drill and either hang the lightbar or seat it on top.

To understand what I mean, this first picture with the bumper removed you can see the frame exposed where I plan to install the lightbar.

  3. I know, but the situation is not that critical to the point of paying 3 to 4 times what I can get from China and be happy with it. Fedex won't deliver the package to me, because they handle it to a different company once it arrives to Spain.

The FedEx option costs 57$ and 21% on top of that and some times up to 40% more depending on how FedEx/UPS/DHL thinks they can get. And One week of wait time realistically.

China option 17$ all included. 15 to 21 days waiting time.

  4. It wasn't really a problem to find the part number 5344059035 related to the hood bonnet lift support struts (just for future googleers) but to find a european store shipping from Europe. It is just a matter of time and avoiding possible import time delays, knowing the price would be already higher in Europe I am willing to pay an extra for a quick shipping option.

    But no luck today.

I just got them from China, 17$ a pair free shipping, its going to take 2 to 3  weeks.:hammer:
