  1. Hi, do we know whats the diameter of the exchauxt pipe on the original part?, below are the diameters of the magnaflow catalytics, i need to know which diameter to choose which matches the original exhaust pipe or at least get an exhaust sleeve/adaptor/connector

    1. Connection diameter:   54 mm / 2 inches
    2. Connection diameter:   60 mm / 2,25
    3. Connection diameter:   70 mm / 2,756
    4. Connection diameter:   60 mm / 2,3
    5. Connection diameter:   48 mm / 1,75

  2. Any reason why you bought CPSI 200 metal catalytic over the 400 Ceramic? performance? does your car sound a lot louder compared to before also?

    I should point out this is a universal fit. So will need a little modification on the pipe end ( not exact fit) not really an issue for a exhaust fitter as they will have many pipes of different dimensions. Also I ordered the metal not the ceramic which is also available.

  3. Just had my catalytic converter stolen from my RX400h around Paddington, what are the specifications of an aftermarket replacement? so that I can purchase it and ask a welder friend to weld it? mechanics are charging £500 and from what I read on this thread the aftermarket costs less than £100.

    Update: Looking at videos on youtube, there is no need for welding if clamps are used? can someone please advise whats the process.
