I've just updated my maps on my 2019 NX by connecting the car to my home Wi-Fi and downloading the update that way. Took about 45mins to download and install

Hi I've used Manchester airport meet and great several times in the past and it was very convenient and reasonable. We stayed in Travelodge Altrincham the night before, just a short drive to the airport. Travelodge do plenty cheap deals. Unfortunately a couple of years ago the prices for meet and greet went silly so last time we flew we used looking4parking.com but there are plenty other websites to search on. Just done a search out of interest and airport meet and greet prices seem to have come down £111 for 3 weeks next april/May 👍

An update on the AAWireless device....
I finally received it 2 days ago and have installed it in my NX. Installation and setup on the phone is very straightforward using the companion App (available on the Google Play Store). The device plugs into the car's USB port via the supplied cable and the phone then connects to it to run Android Auto wirelessly - no need to connect the phone to the USB port every time you get in the car. The device is small enough to fit in the NX's centre console so is hidden away.
Connection and activation time is approximately 45 seconds which in my opinion is more than acceptable. Everything (navigation; audio; steering wheel controls; etc.) functions just as well as wired AA.
I realise it's still early days so will post a further update in a week or so.
More information on the product can be found at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless plus there are a few reviews of it on YouTube (search "AAWireless").
Glad to hear you've received it Andy and sounds promising. Look forward the hearing you updates

Thanks for that. I did look at something similar on a website but it had poor reviews which put me off. It's android I use

Hi Les,
I'm still waiting for my AAWireless device (i.e. from the Indiegogo start-up project) to be delivered. Inevitable teething problems with the first units, plus the global microchip shortage, have delayed things a little. I'm hopeful of getting it sometime in May, at which time I will report back on it's worthiness/compatibility with Lexus head-units.
Great Andy thanks

Had my 2019 nx upgraded to Android auto on Friday at Lexus Newcastle. No charge and navigation updated at the same time. Courtesy car and wash/valet included. Well pleased with excellent service. Would be interested in addition of wireless functionality when Indiegogo comes available.

I took my advanced test in 2003 after thinking about it for a long time. So glad I did, it makes you "think" about driving in a different light. It also makes you appreciate how generally poor the overall standard of driving is.
I went out with a local observer a few times before my test which was a great help. All I paid for was the test but things might be different now.thing
Go for it, you wont regret it (but your wife might 😁)

Route trace seems to have stopped working on my NX ie no dots left on the map screen after traveling along a road. "Save recent route" is set to on in the set up menu but for some reason the dots weren't showing when out this morning.
Any ideas ?

Go into the "set up" menu in the car and then "Wi-Fi" make sure *Wi-Fi power" and "access to network" are both "on". You should then see "available networks" and select yours and enter your password. You should then be connected to your wifi.
