My telephone system was set to update contacts automatically, but it didn’t. Turned this off and then had the option to add a contact and then set a voice tag for it.
thought this may help others that have an Iphone and can’t set voice tags

Anyone have an opinion as to the loom in the link of the first post being side specific?
-
Thank you. Does that one need splicing in to the loom at all?
-
Been having a search but not found anything recent...
Hope the collective knowledge of the forum can help.
Would anybody happen to have a link to a “plug and play” loom to convert the folding mirrors to auto versions that fold when the car is locked or unlocked?
edit
found this but wondering why the same loom wouldn’t work on a RHD version. Is it not a mirror image.
TIA

Bravo 👏 👏 👏
folowing your posts with interest as a new owner myself. Were the LED fits a challenging job? Would you happen to have links to the parts you bought for both jobs?
appreciate any help

Hi folks,
really appreciate your replies. On reflection the warranty is not something I’d planned on getting. The reason for choosing a Lexus was its reliability and great economy. If money was not a limiting factor I would definitely go with John’s suggestions, then again if money was not a factor I’d buy new 😉
think I’ll get the hybrid check and find a good independent Toyota mechanic.
thanks againGraeme

Good evening All,
I could do with the collective’s advice...
I have a new to me 2014 CT Luxury with 50k on the clock.
It had its last “Lexus service” in May 2018 @ 38k miles. It then had an “Arnold Clark” @ 44k miles in December 2018. It has no registered service since then. The local Lex dealership is recommending a major service @ £479 or would provide a minor @ £300
They also offer a 3yr service plan ; 36 monthly payments @ £20 (edited, if only it could be £2, 🤣)
I do feel that as she is a hybrid I should have that Lexus checked.
What would you opt for? Any of the above or a decent Indy garage? Any and all advice from those in the know would be greatly appreciated

Yes, first Lexus. The 10 yr old Ford Focus with 110k on the clock died and wanted something with good mpg, reliability and luxury that I’d never had before. Having got the focus repaired it now serves as rage dog and “tip” car
no sunny pics yet

Hi. I was just using Siri but really wanted the voice tags, just because it’s there. I had to go in to the phone settings on the cars audio / nav display and turn off the automatic syncing of contacts. No contacts actually transferred across, maybe because they aren’t stored on the SIM card 🤔.
this meant I could manually add contacts and names use it the control knob on the middle console. I did find I had to speak clearly when recording the voice tag that is associated with the number. Hope this helps.
