  1. One week of play on Gocompare I got the quote from my existing insurance company for circa 1300 per year, still very dear compare to £850 I paid for Porsche 911 GT3 I had before this Lexus.

I add one more extra driver with provisional driving licence

Secure car park on my work place

I had pleasure use only but I add commuting to work

Had accident about 4.5 years ago but I did not tell them

I was waiting that they gona call me if have any question about new policy  for a few days but all good by now.

Remember from my own experience,  never buy insurance from Gocopare in day number one, first 2-3 days you gona have all expensive quotes only but change the policy details a bit and put it back again make  the price cheaper and cheaper

  2. Linas is right for 100%. I paid fine and had points, why should I pay to insurance again if my license clear by now..

Insurance companies robbing  us so why I should not rob them a bit.  I'm from Ukraine and we very don't like when someone try to rip us off without need, it is just different mentality and we have no eye shores.

Only Problem Here is if you ever have an Accident or Incident involving another vehicle Your Insurance company check to see if there is any missing or incomplete information IE Your penalty points and that could impact your insurance claim in a big way Best to tell them to keep yourself right and avoid any hassle should anything unto ward happen..Andrey its good advice..!!!

as I said before, I never had any single question and I had two accidents for the last 5 years, one my fault, other not.

  4. yes guys I know how it all works.  I had premium £85 per month which  refused on renewal , new cheapest quote I found last night on Gocompare is £111 but with a bit of lie about my driving licence, I had speeding points 3 years back.    I always lie them a bit to get cheaper and never been checked for the last 20 years. any singe claim I made during this long period was not refused. This is not advise!

Adrian flux on this forum must be more flex for us but no, they give their "best"

Yes agree and also confused as what the gearbox has to do with the sound.

in hybrid gearbox allow the engine to rev, so sport car and hybrid car are two sides like Earth and Space

If you all guys want sound  and power then sell RC and buy 911 manual and enjoy all in one. if I lucky to sell randomly bought RC I get back to 911 world, my heart is still there.

Well, I guess everyone has their own definition of what is a good sound. For me it is just loads of drone, quite similar noise to what you would get with rusted out hole in the exhaust - just nasty to be honest. Not that I am surprised at all... as this is not some sort of high-end system, but simple silencer delete in the rear. At the same time... it is a little bit pointless, even best system in the world would not help it - crap in = crap out. If engine exhaust doesn't sound good, then amplifying that noise just going to amplify nasty noise.

Now... it is fair to say the sound quality is horrible in the video (and by the way well done for finding it!), so it is hard to tell. And again, because you can't rev 300h that means it is hard to tell what it really sounds as car is basically driving away at low relatively low RPM. What I am trying to say - if the sound quality would be better, camera would be mounted on the rear bumper and the owner would pull 0-70MPH on motorway slip road... then maybe there is something that could be heard and isn't totally horrible, maybe this horrible noise is just what you get at 2500RPM and at 4000RMP it sounds semi-decent. But I would not call sound I have seen in video "good".

I personally love the two twin pipes and possible gona get it but sound expectation from CVT box  is nonsense

maybe a video with sound results?

Looks fantastic but doubt about the sound cos its not V8.

In previous life I had two Firebirds V6, spent lot of money on last one swop Borla system  to more aggressive one to get V8 burble and all that money just to the bin, bought V8 put old Borla and got a peace.)

Think Lexus only ever went as big as 19” on the RC and at that size tyres are 35 profile (I think).  I run spacers to adjust offset and can get intermittent arch rubbing if I hit a bump a bit hard.  With the right ride height 19” looks fine!

I run original 19" wheels with the  spacers all round 15 and 20 mm and have no rubbing issue at all but the ET of my alloys just not make me happy for 100% but in the same time not really make me sad )))

As far as I am concerned that 19" were already impractical and as big as I would go on RC. 18" probably would be best suited for the car in terms of economy/comfort/handling... 19" are sacrifice for the style. The 20" obviously is even further compromise... if you want the looks then sure go for 20"... I reckon the arches on RC can even take 22" if you have right widths and offsets.

I mean it is not exactly complicated, if you put lower profile tyre and keep wheel size the same they will fit - https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=265-35-19X9ET45&wheel2=265-30-20X9ET45&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm you can do same comparison on fronts.

I agree that the 19" is ok for RC but I'd like to get nice look with concave alloys and 19" sizes don't have deep enough size. Also rubbing problem  stopping me for the bigger size but I read different stories from the American forums and people say some 8.5 width  have rubbing, some  9.5 without issue. Thanks

Not looked at Ebay ones but been checking out the ones from Maxton

Got their rear boot lip spoiler and very happy, although I did get the black one then had it wrapped with a gloss black carbon PPF to match my roof!

Thank you!  I know they  are exist but to be honest I just give up the idea about the spoiler, splitter etc.  Just looking for the decent wheels and finish!)))
