8000 miles per annum

Takumi Model, I think I’d like an RZ electric version, any ideas on best contract hire deal / lease deal ??

The Ux has been a decent car tbf, ok the  boot is way too small and the Battery keeps packing up , also it burns tyres !!!

Also the ride on my Takumi UxE is sublime, is the ride quality on the RZ just as smooth guys ???

Hi I have a UX E Takumi , and I think the Mark Levenson sounds system is absolutely crap,  or worth the money.

standard sounds systems are better than this , surely Lexus can do allot better, my one in Range Rover Velar was excellent and not an upgrade .

Gents, I suggest…..you should not have to jump start a £55,000 car that is 18 months old , missing the point …..

Can’t dump the AA, Lexus Assistance is contracted to them unfortunately, they are very poor , the service is appalling 

The AA have said I will receive a copy , I’ve rang them 3 times and the engineer and I still have not got it , they are useless .

Customer services said it could take 28 days,YES 28 days !!!!

unbelievable, especially as he did the report on my drive and asked me to sigh a PDF report and asked for my email, it should be bloody instant .

Hi well I’m on my 3rd Battery on my Lexus Uxe, mine wouldn’t start yesterday AA came out, said Battery was absolutely shot and needs a new one, the AA WONT recover you to a Lexus Dealer, all they do is jump start the car , they also WONT fit a new Battery in cars that are currently under warranty. The problem is the Battery will show charge when I drive it to a Lexus Dealer ? 

It’s very frustrating this Battery issue especially as I’m going to be on my 3rd Battery after 19,150 miles. 😅

I use the car every day so I don’t understand.

Lexus checked the Alignment etc months ago and confirmed all is fine, The Local Lexus Dealer then re directed me back to MICHELLIN  reference the excessive tyre wear, MICHELLIN then sent me to the Local ATS Branch,who confirmed the wear was unusual with 15;000 miles on and excessive, but they also said I had little chance of getting anywhere ….all simple and transparent……

Hi the back ones where fine, and I was told like I said that I had zero chance of getting anything, so I had to buy tyres and send off the old ones.

UPDATE : Tyres MICHELLIN 

ATS sent my tyres back to MICHELLIN Customer Care for inspection.

Guy at ATS said I was wasting my time, I also bought 2 New front tyres from ATS Budget ones might I ad, £72 each.

Michellin Customer Services rang me and they where very professional and efficient.

OUTCOME : 2 Brand New MICHELLIN tyres FREE ! 

Tax looks cheap at £695 !!!

UPDATE : My Local ATS Tyre Centre have sent my Michelin tyres back to Michelin for inspection.

They quoted £190 each for replacement Michelin , obviously I declined as they only lasted 15,000 miles.

im trying a budget tyre at £72 each, they must do circa 12,000 miles and the ratings where surprisingly good.

I save 50 % on a Main Dealer service costs.

I get 3.2 and I drive pretty slowy , your doing very well, how are your tyres as mine are bald at 14900 miles MICHELLIN tyres, useless 

Too many sharp angles , and let’s be honest, cheap plastics ….still a great car to own.

Hi, I’ve a 2021 Lexus UX Electric Takumi, I bought this car brand new, I do local short distance driving, but I certainly don’t drive fast, I noticed yesterday that my tyres will need renewing shortly, their both down to 2.5 MM on the front , I can’t believe I’ve only got 13,250 miles on, the current ones are MICHELLIN, shall I switch to another Brand , and have other people got excessive tyre wear on the Electric UX ??

Great car, poor range, heated seats poor, I find it a Difficult car to hand wash, and limited colour choice, would I buy another one ??? Not unless the range improves , and the charging network also needs to improve …..Rapidly.

They couldn’t give the Takumi models away 18 months ago ……over priced in my opinion, and residual values of these models will reflect this .

Lol but Lexus do I’m afraid use cheap plastic materials, it lets them down .

they need to look at Porsche or Audi for quality plastics etc. 

Hello everyone, I got my Lexus UX e Takumi about 12 months ago, like many others the 12v Battery has failed, eventually got a new one under warranty, but that’s the only major problem I’ve encountered.

Also the front tyres are not looking good after 12,000 miles , this seems odd and disappointing, MICHELLIN tyres.

My main gripe is it’s an awful car to hand wash yourself, so much curved plastic and edges, im an ex retired car dealer and I’ve washed thousands of my cars in my time , THIS IS THE WORST 😂

I love the smooth ride, the handling is really nice but the sound system is very poor Mark Levinson is believe .

The Heated seats are very very poor, also the heated steering wheel is not that hot either, my girlfriend has a Hyundai I10 and her heated seats are fantastic ,  one on Lexus you can do better !

I got a great deal when I bought it brand new, circa £7000 of list, I decided to lease it, 36 payments , £1500 deposit, £500 per month on 8000 miles per annum, a bargain I think 🤔 

Lexus seemed to have about 50 Lexus UX e at their Head Office at the time , all with Takumi Packs, so £54,000 is allot of money for this car in my opinion.

I’m still disappointed with the range in winter, but love the power, I might buy it after the lease runs out, depends how the figures are in relation to Cap and Glasses guide !
