  1. Supremely jealous of all these lovely cars. With the discontinuation of the V8, I hope Lexus can pull off an equally desirable driver’s work of art for the future. As it happens, Lexus news feels a bit quiet and uncertain!

  2. Thanks everyone. Glad I went with the IS this time last year, although have since test driven an ES, NX and UX. NX was surprisingly enjoyable! Even though I’m not overall keen on SUVs. As someone who drives a lot of vans, I can see the appeal of a higher seating position.

Recently had 4 new Crossclimate 2s fitted to replace the aging Bridgestones. Night and day difference!

  3. Hello, decided to join up here after browsing as a guest for a good while.

My 2014 IS, bought last year, is my first Lexus, but not my first Toyota, after previously owning a 2005 Corolla and 2008 Avensis. Hoping to keep the IS until it’s 15 or thereabouts and see what the situation is. I’ve always had a preference for slightly older, well looked after cars, and Lexus really suits this kind of philosophy as I’m sure everyone knows.

I think my ideal garage would comprise of a mint LS 400, a daily driver RX, and an LC for weekends 😜

  4. I really want to know what the next model will be, considering they have an SUV/crossover for basically every size car (that the UK could want).

Surprised that the LM came to the UK market. Checking the new registrations for those will be interesting over the coming years…

For IS owners, would you consider the ES? Assuming the CANBUS problems are fixed in the future?

I found that they will do quite a few  miles on an empty gauge indication, which is fortunate as the two times I picked up the car from Lexus (- once after buying the car and secondly after the fuel tank re-call ) the tank was showing empty and also showing a low fuel warning. Neither dealer would put any fuel in the car as any type of gesture of goodwill or whatever. I would have had to pay for the privilege but did not want to take up the miserly offer. It was a bit worrying after 15/20 miles on an empty tank. I suppose somebody has to pay for the biscuits🥲

Bit rubbish that they sold you it with low fuel. In comparison, mine came with a full tank!
