f your car has km/h and mph... cant you just leave it?
Thats like saying "everybodys car comes with wheels so why do people change them?" :P :P :P
Of course I could just leave it but don't like squinting at the dash looking for the little yellow numbers and let's face it the IS dials aren't the brightest dials around at night
For those who've had the speedo cluster out is it easy to make changes?
i would love it if i could run on one set of tyre for my whole life.....
..... i taken out the speedo before and it take 5 min.... only a couple of screws and out it pops.
if you thinking of changing the whole cluster to a altezza one i would check if the connectors and the wiring are the same.

Depends on your average speed
Mileages divided by average speed = total hours
I.e. 250/70 = 3.57 hours

thanks for that - RS200Z should be easy to get hold of.
But "model report" - what is that for ? something for the SVA ?
Actually I prefer a manual T/M, and I thought the manual version would be more popular in UK.... but autos are everywhere here, so won't be a problem to buy an auto
yep the model report is need to pass the ESVA
they have changed the rules and the SVA is no more, it is now called ESVA and have added Restrictions.

At the moment I'm living and working in Japan, and will probably buy a used Altezza soon. When I return to UK next year, I will take the car back with me and will sell the car. So my question is, what would be the best Altezza model and Spec to buy so that I won't have trouble selling the car when I return - basically I need to know which Altezza model is the most sought after in the UK ?
any advice would be very welcome !! Thanks.
i think the rs200z is the most common one that people want.
but also make sure you only buy a auto/trip one cos they havent yet got a model report for the manual one avilable yet here.
but if your importing it in a years time they might have one by then, but it might be a risk.
any chance you bring over a supercharger over aswel?

have anyone in london got a standard is200 or altezza front bumper lying around thet i could borrow?

did the cops look on the shops cctv, as they could well have went into the shops too?
-
***** man!!
I live round there as well, I would keep my eye out
Is there anything else I can look out for apart for the number plate as it could easily be changed.
-
if its imported here the model report would be a major problem.
nice car doe! :P
