Wheel nut caps

My LBX is coming up for its first service. I wondered if anyone knows if they need to remove your wheels on this service. I purchased some wheel nut cover caps which look quite attractive compared to the ugly nuts. I will remove them before the service if the wheels need to be removed. Thanks for any advice, Roger.- Well we cannot have nothing nice in this world!
Regards non Really feel for you Dan, regards the non fault claim I don’t know how this can be allowed or legal. My insurance is going up a lot with my age increasing lol so I put my son on the policy which made a big difference. He had a clean driving record.after a few months I had a mail from my insures telling me that my policy was going up by £180. There is company called CUE and they had found that my son had an accident we had not told them about. My son was shocked and it turned out that 4 years previously he was parked in a private car park and was hit by another vehicle, just a small bit of bumper damage but he spoke to the insurance company who logged the call. Also the following year they loaded me again, it stays on the policy for 5 years. How on earth are they allowed to do this. Cost me £300 up until now. All the best Roger 🤔- What tires does your car have?
Yokohama on mine, seem very good. Not noisy only when the road surface is poor. People say what are they like in the wet, it’s not a sports car so not a problem. 😳- SUMMER MPG
On 4 fill ups average 67mpg, that’s not using the app. 90% journeys under 15 miles.- New LBX owner, questions (battery, remote access and others)
Welcome Jan, as has been said best to be careful with the 12v battery. I have a battery monitor attached to give me an idea of what the charge state is. I also have a c tek charger, I have fed the wires into the boot area so it is easy to plug in. The battery is not easy to access being under the rear seat. I am a low mileage user, had my car 3 months now and just hit 1000 miles. I have not found it necessary to charge the 12v yet but if I don’t use the car for 3 days or so I start it and leave in ready mode for at least 30 minutes or so. You can get a bit obsessed with the battery especially reading about all the problems on forums. Just bear in mind if you are careful you will be ok and if there is a problem a call out will sort it. Also it does seem that from earlier this year the batteries have been upgraded. My dealer has confirmed this as a fact. 🤞🏼 It is a lovely car so enjoy 😄- Wheel nut size
I am pleased with mine, shame the round ones for the locking nuts don’t fit. 😢- Wheel nut size
I had given some thought to removal, the last thing you need is finding they have welded on to the bolts when you need to take off a wheel or you have a puncture on the road. There is a plastic removal tool which hooks onto the sides to pull off. Also I have not pushed the caps on as far as they would go.I have also put plenty of Vaseline on the insides of the caps. 🤞🏼- Wheel nut size

Thank you all for good advice, I spoke to Lexus and they only do the open ended wheel bolt so I have found some caps. The round one for the locking wheel nut is to big but the others look quite tidy😄- Wheel nut size
Thanks all, I have managed to find a socket and it’s 17mm. I am thinking about replacing the bolts. I really don’t like the look of the open ended ones.🤔- Wheel nut size
I am looking for caps to cover the lug nuts. Look pretty ugly as they are. On line it says 21mm but it looks more like 17mm to me not easy to measure without taking the bolt out. Anybody done this. Thank you.- Petrol guage stuck on full
Is there any reason why service is overdue ? You just have to trust your dealer, unless you have had a bad experience already. If so go elsewhere. Unlikely they are going to damage your battery I would think.- Seat height / battery
My dealer told me bigger batteries are now being fitted, had mine just over 2 weeks. I have a battery monitor and wiring attached for my c tek charger. All looks good at present and I am a low mileage user. Regards seat height I am only 5ft 6inches and have seat position fairly high and have no problems. Best to go into dealer and try out for your self. - 1st Service
