  1. You can even set the aircon to a fast mode whilst having the car in ECO and it keeps the settings until you change modes.
  2. I do but you can manually change it in the climate settings. I have Eco throttle and Normal Aircon
  3. Lexus made some fairly large changes to the 2026 spec cars from the previous launch models, different suspension to help with the ride quality, sound deadening in the wheel arches, NVH added to all the range not just Takumi. No signs of a facelift on the horizon but I would still recommend going getting a good test drive and seeing if the car is for you.
  4. Congrats on the new purchase! I have the Ceramic on my LBX and whilst it comes up nicely when cleaned its also very soft and isn't scratch/swirl resistant. Its lasted 18 months on mine but I am going to get a specialist detailer to apply a proper and hard coating after this summer. Other add ons may be worth it depends on what you consider worth it. The allow and tyre cover has been a godsend for me as i had 2 punctures and a blowout over last winter. Also recommend the mudflaps, they really do make a difference. Any other questions feel free to ask, this is a great OC with many helpful and knowledgeable owners.
  5. As most have said. Get yourself a good proper test drive in both models and see what you prefer. Both are similar in on road behaviour, the UX has a little more space in the rear seats but a much smaller boot capacity compare to the LBX.
  6. I use ECO mode for everyday driving, just because it mushes the throttle so makes the progress even more smooth than usual. And if i need to put my foot down the car still performs as it does in Normal mode. EV mode (the button near the gear selector) is IMO a gimmick, you rarely ever have enough charge to use it and the car will be trying to use EV as much as possible anyway so will do what you require in EV mode by default.
  7. This was a topic that recently came up, copied my response for you.
  8. I tend to average low 60's in summer and mid/high 50's in winter. On motorway journeys I almost always have CC on along with Lane Keep Assist which I know can dent efficiency but its just so helpful I will happily take that small hit.
  9. I have the standard mats in my Takumi D and my Dad has the rubber mats in his Premium Plus, i personally prefer the standard ones but the both are a good set. I have the Rubber boot liner from Lexus though, well worth it.
  10. My ABS seems to on the odd rare occasion judder itself awake when I first use the brakes at the start of a journey. Only the once and as I reapply the brakes it no longer happens. Maybe its something software or sensor related.
  11. In fairness you asked this same question on another thread and this one and folk have given you a lot of advice because many have been there before, they only wanted to help and in turn find out if it did indeed help you. A little follow up would have been appreciated is all. If the ride really is that bad compared to your test drive (surely you did take an actual test drive) and don't want to follow the advice on here then go to the dealership you bought it from and ask them to take a look.
  12. I worked in the motor claims industry for a decade and can confirm around a quarter of all claims are Rear Impact, which is why i recommend front and rear dashcams always.
  13. Being a brand new car the suspension is likely a bit stiff at first until it beds in with mileage. Check your tyre pressures, almost every new car I have had has had at least 2 of them pumped up way above recommended PSI. And the LBX is sensitive to that I find. Does the ride quality and firmness drastically differ from your test drive that you took?
  14. The Auto button will turn the Climate Control on if its switched off or set all the systems to automatically function based on whatever temp you have set. Mine is almost always left in auto mode with climate concierge set to on.
  15. An annoying omission is the fact there is no washer fluid warning, so I just top up once a month or prior to going away on hols where lots of driving is involved.
  16. There has been a couple of small software related recalls but thats about it. Maybe ask at the service if the dealers will check the 12v Battery health but other than that any other software (such as infotainment/Nav maps updates is automatic).
  17. IIRC there was a previous thread on here where general consensus seemed that when your range hits 0 you actually still have 6-7L left in reserve. It was the same with my previous Yaris too (same size tank) Ive never been able to put more than 29litres in when I have run the gauge to zero.
  18. I dont have Premium but the ride on my Takumi is very good anyway (firm but comfy and controlled) so the reduction to 17" wheels will no doubt produce an even better ride. I havent heard of any wear and tear issues with any grade of LBX tbh. As always though, go get yourself a good and proper extensive test drive with an LBX to see if its the right car for you. 🙂
  19. Ive had the paddles on both my 2.0 Corolla and LBX. In both instances ive actively put both into Sport mode and gone for a blast around the peak district roads near me to see how useful they are trying to use them as simulated gears. For both my findings was.......very mixed. On occasion and with deliberate input you can get the engine to rev somethign akin to a normal gearbox and you can keep the revs held high going through a bend however im not sure if its any quicker, I actually think my rate of progress is slower using the paddles in that way. I find the car to be much quicker when in D mode and the paddles ignored entirely. They are excellent at being used for energy recuperation and maintaining a constant speed going downhill. But for me, on both of my cars. Much like the EV mode button, a gimmick and nothing more.
  20. Hang fire, there's a G-force reading option?! Well I never 😂
  21. Had it happen to me with a few of my previous cars over the years. You can adjust the sensititvity of the collision radar in the vehicle settings.
  22. In the 18 months Ive seen a fair old few. Both me and my better half live within a 5 min drive of both RRG Lexus Stockport and RRG Lexus Bolton so we see some regularly. And when on hols or days out I see the odd few here and there, hugely popular by Leus standards is the LBX but compare the 14k LBX sold (uk lifespan total) to the 30-35k sold per annum Nissan Juke, the 18-25k sold per annum Yaris Cross and 45k-55k sold per annum Ford Puma. Its still a rare car.
  23. I think it would contrast nicely with any colour in Design trim, maybe the Vibrant edition too!
  24. Yeah a good range of colours to be had 🙂
  25. It’s decent but I don’t think matches the Merc. This is parked right under a LED lamppost but the lights are quite bright, the footwell and phone charger port esp.
