Can anybody help with this frustrating problem. Jump started my wifes car Thursday using my IS200 W reg

every thing seemed ok but when starting car no Radio!

We have checked all fuses both at kick panel and under bonnet. Then had Radio removed to see if there may have been separate fuse on unit.Answer none visible. Connection box to the Radio only has 1 permanent live with no Ignition live showing.

Has anyone ever come across this problem any help would be much appreciated

Funny you should say that. I have an aftermarket unit fitted, but mine has just done the same after the Battery went totally flat and was recharged. Haven't looked into it yet, but I know it is receiving a permanent 12v supply, and I was suspecting that I'd somehow lost the switched ignition 12v supply. You say there was no fuse on this line?? Hmmmm.... I'm going to look at mine tomorrow, so if I find anything I'll let you know. Likewise, could you give me a shout if you find anything elightening. Cheers......

me too.i've got the message showing ERR3, damn it.........get it to repair, waiting for the reply, thought that will replace alpine head unit....and custom made the case to match the dash........need to try and see.....i new got few unit which exac fit the housing which is fujitsu .

Suffering from the dreaded ERR3    at the moment and Lexus dealer won't budge on their decision not to replace/repair. So I'm forced to locate a replacement unit ...

So Has anyone got a known working one for sale (must be bottom CD style unit) ...

hi all, if you have scratched your dash by some means (ahem):( then there is a company called  'plastic surgeon'  a franchise BTW, they can fix little marks and scratches on ur dash easily - my dealer used them as a dash got scratched when a radio/cd unit was being exchanged. They can even do the lighter coloured section of the dash on the IS series - belive they respray it?? 

  Now can they do that a different colour for those of us that way inclined????

Ive just brought the spoiler that is about 3-4 " in height with the brake light and will be looking for a new home for my lip spoiler that will be coming off my mine.

So if anybodys interested in it, in about 5 weeks time when it goes in to the body shop for the styling kit to be put on let me know.
