  1. Morning all,

I have had a problem recently in that my indicator sometimes flashes more quickly than it should. Not all the time just most of it. When I reverse and apply the brake the internal indicator on the dash slightly glows. (Possible connection fault?)

To compound the problem when I change to tiptronic mode, on the dash where it shows you which gear you are in there is a message stating "Range" and the tip gear box is blank?

Last night I disconnected my Battery to reset the ECU as advised by a friend and when I reconnected the gears are available again but the range message is still there and it has very low idle revs. When slowing down at junctions it just cuts out... :o

Is this an v expensive visit to the local Lexus dealer?

    Cheers

  2. Greetings,

Today I tried to swap from auto to manual on the stick and I got the message on the dash

    "Range" and a flashing "M"

    Has anybody seen this before??

All help appreciated, got a feeling this might be an expensive one....

  3. I have heard a rumour (on quite good authority) that Shell are going to introduce a new fuel to the market called "V POWER"

Apparently, this fuel is 102 RON which if Im not mistaken is the same as the fuel in Japan.

As i dont really know too much about it, Can anybody say what would be the benefits??

  4. Can anybody point me in the direction of some centre caps for my RS200 factory fit rims, as some little urchin has helped themselves to mine. I thought they had gone at work so I had securtity review the tapes with no avail.

Only I was walking to the shop the other day and it appears that a new craze has the streets. As I saw another two IS200 without centre caps.....

    Any assistance appreciated.

  5. Tried the technical tap, then tried slapping, then took it out, removed several hundred screws, replaced several hundred srews (only 2 left over, which I thought was a good effort) and still no joy!!

I think i will try the faithful bay of e.

    Cheers

  6. OK, having battled with errr 3 for several weeks. Today I have finally been beaten and my chilli peppers cd permantly devoured. As the FM radio is also finished, although I doubt whether it ever started. I am now without alternative noise to the purring of my tezz. At first this does not seem to be a problem, almost welcome.

But my plan is to install a new Clarion head unit....

Does anybody have any ideas on blanking plates etc. to fill the gap left by an overly large stock unit....

  7. Hi all,

Just thought I would drop a quick line to say Hi as I'm a newbie to the board.

Just took delivery of my tezz...(Another satisfied customer, cheers Scott)

It and me have already been sideways, how twitchy in the wet?? So if I can stay in a straight line I should enjoy many years happy motoring.....
