My new Is 200SE has landed. T'is a Nice shiney newish one , 2004 to be exact.

IS200 SE : Antimony : Exmoor leather and suede, :17" alloys (at The Mo) Unfortunatelty no Sat Nav as i cant be asked to use to Nav Man just yet.

Its an automatic one and to be frank i DONT like it. I'm used to my 2001 spec IS 200 manual. I feel like i dont have any control over gears and cant knock down effectively enough when i want to. i do like the cruise feature as i have just come down the A38 from Lichfield to Birmingham.

What shall i do?

Go back to manual or grin and bear it for a while longer to see if i could get used to it.

I have noticed that i am starting to reach to change gears but hey , Its an auto , Da*n.

My mate Ali has one. His is a late release 1998 overlapping the firtd T reg's. Its only a standard S. it feels ALOT heavier than mine, in the sense that the doors steering and literally everythinf on it is heavier, Silver in colour , Not a LOC member

I tell ya somat this site is awesome, I took apart a set of headlights as detailed on here and it was wicked . i should now have Clear front H/Lights . does any one know if the bulbs are special order or can i get them from any auto electrical store , being a lex n all..

6.5" in the front utilsing the original spaeker housing and sealing them in, and 3/4" tweets in the doors, 6 x 9's in the rear fit staright in. You can use a Hi to Low level convertor if you are powering off the oem H/unit no probs,.

I have recentlty come across a mint set of RX300 18" alloys, will they fit my IS200 and if so what tyres will i need,

RX 300 alloys : 7JJ 18: 50

IS 200 alloys :7JJ 17 : 35

I think the 50 and 35 respectively relate to the offset, is this gonna cause a problem .
