hi all as we speak my is is in getting water pump and belt done as it was rattling on reving, probly tensioner/ pully ive just called garage to see how thay r getting and he said im lucky with 5mil of belt left, lucky me, but he also said that the housing for water pump has i tiny leak and may need changing, as anyone heard of this before and how much am i looking at, many thanks.

p.s my timing belt needs doing as its just turned 100k

hi i av a rattling noise when reving and pulling away but seems to go when rpm is up and over 4000 i took it to a couple of mechanics as i thought heat sheilds but one guy said it could be water pump as this was the area and the sheilds were not making noise he used a stepherscope to listern to diffrent parts of the engine and kept comming back to this, and also see on a different forum that a woman had simlar problem and she was told worn timing belt and water pump SO COULD THIS BE RIGHT WHO CAN HELP.

whats wrong with your caliper?if its seized i wrote a guide on how to recon your caliper for free if the seals are ok or for a few pounds if you need a new seal kit. oh the guide is in the thread sticking caliper its below your thread. thanks for your reply fella but the slider is well and truely stuck it will not move its like its been welded in, plus im not the best with a spanner. lol

does anyone have a is200 sport 2001 model front passenger brake caliper for my baby or one that will fit and match the standard one, i have money but not a lot so please let me know, or if u know were i can get a cheap one. kind regards dave
