  1. This one has had very mixed reviews: AA Solar Charger Can anyone recommend one they are using?
  2. Hello, i am looking for a solar trickle charger to keep the battery topped up. Does anyone recommend any? The reviews are always quite mixed. Not used one before,so i assume they plug in the cigarette lighter and sit on the dash?
  3. 😃 So great news! After another full battery charge reconnected and put the key in for 8 mins, took out and reinserted and it started immediately with no splutter! I had forgotten how good it sounds! Thanks for all the advice, worked perfectly! 😃
  4. Yes the light stays on for a while,i left the key in for 15 mins or so and it was still slowly blinking red. Do i just need to leave it in longer? And turned all the way to the last position before ignition?
  5. GS300 has been in storage for around a year and now i need to move it. Charged the battery for 24 hrs and replaced the fob battery also so as to disable immobilizer. But wont start, keeps trying but after 5/10 mins of trying eventually voltage drops low and the loud clicking sound starts. Any tips on what i might need to do to get it started? There are engine and oil lights on as i would expect but there is fuel.

  7. Thanks! yes i was going to ask regarding the blink count process. Once the pins are shorted would i then have to count like this? Is there a guide someone can direct me to?
  8. i'm trying to advise the mechanics who are currently investigating the fault, but haven't actually taken it apart to look into. I'm hoping its just dirt/rust on the sensor itself as it seems that this VSC light can be caused by a whole variety of issues. It used to make the whining noise when applying the brake at slow speeds, one day this stopped altogether and now the VSC light stays on,the VSC button which used to turn it off or on,doesn't do anything now.
  9. Am struggling to locate some rear wheel sensors for the 1999 GS300 Does anyone know of any, have trawled the usual ,ebay etc and cant seem to find any that are suitable?
  10. Hello, wondering if anyone had any info re: a how to guide for replacing sensors?
  11. Hi,thanks for the info. i had a look around, and assume i will need to take the bumper off to access the sensors as i couldn't see how else to do so Is there a guide to doing this on the GS300? also will i need to be mindful of any airbag deployment sensors around that way?
  12. ill have a look tonight and let you know but from memory,i don't recall seeing any icons anywhere on my dash.
