    Hehe i know it´s a drain hole... The problem is that it looks corroded, the passenger door drain hole doesn´t look like this at all.

    Don´t you people in UK have warranty?? If you buy a Lexus in Sweden, it comes with a 8 year/ 150000km warranty on almost everything except brake pads and normal mechanical wear! I got my Lex booked the 23 of august...they will change the CD-changer and fix the problems with a blinking ABS lamp and remote locking problems! All FREE OF CHARGE!

    I hope that you are not jet washing the engine bay ? ← Of course not! I don´t even use jetstream water....just a garden hose....

    This is the second time this occurs! I can´t lock my IS with the remote control after washing! The first time it happened, only the remote locking was out of function. Now the ABS-light and the TRC OFF is blinking as well!? Is there some kind of control unit located near the engine bay? Guess something got wet...Last time i hade to wait a whole day before everything worked as usual! Guess it dried up...

    I have discovered a rattle coming from the left side (drivers side) of the engine and it only appears when the cars idles and stands still...I can only hear the sound when i am standing next to the left wheel, if i pop the hood and listen i can´t hear anything!? It is not present all the time and it continues to rattle for a second after i turn of the engine! Does anybody know what it might be or what kind of engine parts are situated on the left side, i have a theory that the A/C compressor is making the noise? Please help!

    I´m not sure it´s coming from the brakes though....I´m not even touching the brake pedal when i turn the wheel and it´s still there....

    Ummm, tried winding the window down and listening? ← Yes i did, but i can´t determine if it is hearable from outside....

    Please help me with this! I´m embarassed every time it creaks!! It´s a Lexus for gods sake! BTW, does anyone know if the sound is hearable from outside?

    I´ve been listening for the sound tonight and is sounds like wet rubber against steel, seems like the sound is more frequent when it raines outside... It sounds like it´s coming from the powersteering but it´s not there everytime i turn the wheel....I have to drive and turn the wheel slightly and slowly for the sound to appear! Seems also as if it is not hearable from outside the car but i´m not sure... Everything functions as normal, the steering, the brakes and the suspension....

    Finally got the car of my dreams, an IS200 Sport -00! Such a difference from my old car, a Saab 9-3 Turbo -01!! But there is a little problem, i get a creaking sound when braking and turning the steering wheel at low speeds, i have read some old posts at this forum but it isn´t really clear to me... Is it the brake pads that make that noice? If so, is it really a problem? Should i claim my warranty?
