  1. Well got my Tanabe DF210 (Max Lowering) the other day through SupremePowerParts.com this week. My neighbor, Bob (Zone Wheels) and his buddy John from Progress Springs came by my garage to help do the install. Actually, they did all the installation, since they've done suspension upteen times. All in all, with their first time doing this proceedure on an 06 GS, it took um 4 hours to complete the job. Here's a taste of the after, I finished doing a write up on the install process HERE . Overall, these springs added 15% in spring rate over stock so it's not stiff and bouncy. Ride is very nice. The front drop was a massive 2" and the rears were 1.6" as advertised! Took the car over to Dynamic Auto Service in Midway City and Ted over there (ex-Lexus Tech) took car of me...got it aligned and fixed my AFS flashing light. That was due to the car being lowered too much out of its tolerance I guess, so he did his magic and fixed that. Unfortunately, Lexus like most car makers are cheaping out and didn't include camber adjusts for the front and rear. Sooooo my neighbor Bob will be working on some camber links for the car for his new line of Lexus parts he's working on. Now I'm just dying for my wheels to arrive, as it just doesnt look right right now. Thanks again to Bob (Zone Wheels) and John (Progress Springs) for the time and install  :bier:
  2. good to know! I'll just get back with him in a few months or so...
  3. Thanks i'll just have to wait a bit longer...i presume that these mirrors would be for right hand drive...
  4. why not just let the guys run flat bottoms again so that their front end aerodynamics dont get messed up when they're following closely. This in turn will help decrease overall speeds due to more drag and while we're at it toss those dam grooved tires and go back to slicks...
  5. would any of you chaps be so kind as to get me the part numbers for the 06 GS300 split mirrors? I have a friend that's stationed in german that would be able to get this for me and send them over. Thanks
  6. I'm really impressed with the fuel mileage as well. I just got my 06 stateside and have 180miles on the clock and i'm just getting to 1/2 tank. that's not bad for a motor that's not even broken in yet.
  7. Do you have as standard or optional equipment the split zone side mirrors to help you with the "blind" spot on the driver's side of the car? I had some on my previous VW's and Audi cars...had to buy them from europe to install on my US spec car. Just curious if Lexus has similar things on the euro equipped cars. here's a pic of one for the Audi TT
