Hey everyone! I was curious if I could get some help. My Car: 1990 Lexus LS400 225,000 miles My transmission (I believe) is being very jumpy. When I accelerate... the tach will go up just fine in first gear, but as soon as it shifts, the tach stops at 2.2 RPM's. And no matter how hard I press the gas pedal or even if I punch it, it will not move, I have to take my foot off the gas pedal, then wait a couple seconds before it can accelerate again. This happends about 3 out of every 5 times the car goes through second gear. Anyu ideas? Tranmission? Brain? Chip? Thanks in advance!
