I know you're not supposed to use CD lens cleaners with some slot-loading CD players, but my one's been skipping a lot when playing CD-Rs and seems to be getting worse, so I'd like to give it a go. Has anyone used one and was it ok? Which CD number (1-6) did you put the lens cleaner in?

your bang on there mate,they do need a bit of revs and slipping ← Is this the famous clutch judder I've heard so much about? The reason I ask is that I test drove an IS200 last night which had a bit of a shudder. However, I was pushing it quite hard (hard gear changes, no slippage on the clutch, hard acceleration) to make sure I'd feel it if the car had it, and the shudder was only very slight. Possibly simply due to bad gear changes, in fact.... Is this ok or is it a bad thing in peoples' opinions?

Can't wait! ← Damn, fell through, I thought I was paying 12.5 including my car. Dealer thought it was 12.5 + my car. Looking at another one now that's slightly newer, slightly less milage and slightly cheaper too....

Hi, I'm new to this board, but I'm looking at buying an IS200 Sport. The thing is, the one I'm looking at is on a 51 plate with 54,000 miles and is up for sale at 13,495 at my local Lexus dealer, which seems a little pricey to me. What Car? values it at 11.5k from a dealer and Parkers at 12.1k from a franchised dealer. I know it comes with a year's warranty+MOT and RAC check and a full valet and stuff, but I don't know. Anyone got any tips for getting a price reduction?
