i'm about to buy a new (2nd hand)car and the TT Aristo is high on the list, i had a few questions that would really help me in making my mind up- would really appreciate any pointers :-)
1) i am looking at around £12k- seems like that might get me a yr 2000 V300 with about 60k on clock- sound right ? There is one on autotrader right now (blue) that i was thinking about
2) seems like most people never convert the touch screen for TV etc. I have checked many posts and it looks like there is no definitive answer or maybe i just missed it so...
a) is there a simple converter that will get the TV elements working in UK- and if so is it actually any good/worth it.
B) Is there a simple way to hook up a DVD player to it and possibly link to screens in the back- and is there a cheap cost effective way to do this?
c) is there a simple fix for converting the Nav to run the UK lexus version? or other options for Nav on the screen
3) I will use the car for a 100mile round trip commute nearly every day- can it cope reliably - i always viewd lexus as the ultimate reliable car but does the TT set up change that?
4) i live in Oxfordshire (UK) any suggestions for where to get serviced ?
I really want one but the questions above are my main sticking points so far- i know there are lots of questions- but you're the experts so any advice really appreciated.
