Thanks for the replies. Lexus Manchester quoted me £602 inc VAT for the 60k service, which for changing a few filters with 3 hours labour seems outrageous. I'm switching from Audi (whose main dealer labour rate is a criminal £110/hr) but at least there are loads of indy VAG garages around.

A newby writes.... I've got my eye on a GS300. It has 60k on it and I'll probably put another 40/50k on it before selling it. So whilst it has has full Lexus history, I don't think it'll be worth enough for FLSH to make a difference when I come to sell. Anyone know a good indy repair shop preferably North Manchester? BTW how much is a 60k service at a main dealer, as I might just go for the stamp for this first major service...and also....it's a 2001 Y, is it a cambelt change at 63k or 100k? Thanks in advance
