  1. All attachements to the gearbox where already removed (as stated in the workshop manual). I succeeded to losen and remove the bolts as sugested with a very long (tripple) extension and lowering the gearbox (lifting the front of the engine)about 7 cm at the end. At that moment i could see or feel the bolts what helps to snap the wrenge. Gearbox is out now, mounted the new clutch set and will assemble gearbox and the rest. Thanks all of you.
  2. Thanks for the answer, but is it also possible (without damaging something) to lower de gearbox and or lifting the front end of the engine to make it easier. Or are they in the workshop completly removing the engine to get acces ?
  3. Hello there, I'am changing my clutch (is200, manual gearbox, 2003) at this moment, but after removing propeller shaft and exaust etc, (as decribed in the repair manual)they just say remove the four bolts and take gearbox out. But I wonder how to reach the upper bolts of the gearbox mounting and the upper bolt from the starter motor. Until now i can't even see them let alone loosen them, which is needen to remove the gearbox. I tried lowering the supported gearbox a little, but this has harly any effect. Please give me a tip !! Thanks in advance P.S. Sofar I couldn't find anything on this or any other forum
