i think you guys are missing the point.

and i suppose you are right, i do not really understand the MOT process, being as i have only been in your country since February.

i was told it is very similar to the JCI process in Japan, which includes quite a bit of paperwork, in Japanese, a fee for this, and a tax for that, and a very intrusive inspection of your vehicle.

but i am now under the impression that it is not so much as that, and only lasts about an hour.

that was some of the information i was looking for, but failed to find here.

i have talked with people, and found a place to have my MOT done, and i was told specific places not to go,

which is what i was kind of looking for here, not so much the tank of gas as a place that will not take advantage of the fact that i am a foreigner.

i am sure people who have an IS model Lexus have little to no unsolvable problems with you guys around to help them sort things out.

This is a meet arranged by the # Team, for their members the carpark will be closed off with only OJC forum members submitted.

there may be members from both forums attending but this is not a LEXUS OWNERS CLUB MEET.

And you would have to be a member of the out law # to gain entry to the car park with your car.

But you are welcome to join if you like.

I'm only saying this so you would not be disappointed if you did not get your car in.

Its not just a Lexus meet, its a meet for all Japanese cars organized by the out law jap club

i took it to be a meet for lexus only bit still any member going to this meeting

can anyone please tell me when the next lexus meet at the ace cafe is please.

OJC was set up by a few aggrieved LOC members, and has made remarkable claims and accusations against LOC, badmouthed the club and its members, LOC will not tolerate this on its own forums and will not support another club who allows it.

LOC has absolute right on who it allows to advertise or promote

LOC has no problems with its members being members of other forums, in fact many members are members of many forums, myself included

I personally find it strangely amusing that people who blatently slag this club off, are the ones trying their best to log back in and post here, and the fact that members here who love to "have a go" and state how bad it is here, still hang around, if it was me and I was unhappy I would find somewhere else to pass my time

no one is being asked to leave or stay, there is no chain on the door, you are free to come and go as you please, but please dont come here to promote, what you know as well as me is not wanted here, then complain that we act the way we do

Well i dont know you ( it seems your an ok fella) but how do you think the posts that you have contributed to will look with chunks missing? Are you trying to hurt the club or all the members you have come to know? I am a member of a few forums and have spat the dummy out a few times but i wouldn't dream of having my posts deleted as if they can help people in the future all the better. Dont you think?
