Just noticed a cream IS200 interior for sale on E bay, the price is currently £50.00. Sounds like a good price for someone who has a damaged interior.

Hi, my car self locks. If you disarm but don't open any door excluding the boot it will re-lock its self after 20 seconds. I know this as I locked my keys in the boot due to the re-locking. If you contact your dealer this security feature can be dis-armed.

Does anybody know where I could get a cover for my IS200 from. I can't get the car in my garage at the moment so it gets covered in dust and the disc's go really rusty as some weeks it won't move if I'm working away.

I took this cover, cost me £240.00 per year. I preferred this as you get money for a new car not your trashed stolen one back.

I opted for Lexus protection instead of a Tracker system. This way if my Lexus is stolen I get the full amount that I paid for it back, not my now thrashed and battered car the police chased and found by way of the Tracker installed. This cost's £240 per year.

Wonder wheels is not suitable for wheels with damaged lacquer. As the acid will dull the bare aluminium, you can repair this damage by poilishing but it can take some effort & time. I like Halfords own brand of wheel cleaner for general cleaning, this does not seem too harsh.

I was told to keep below 4000rpm for the first thousand miles. From then on up 500rpm more for every 100 miles covered. I've got 1400 miles on my clock now not really gone over 5,500rpm yet, I can feel the engine freeing up nicely though.

I'll be there, this location sounds fine. Lets hope the weather is good.

That date and location are fine for me. My bank holiday Friday will be spent cleaning the Lexus !:tumble:

They were doing a job on a car at my dealers, so I just took my car down to them and they did the repair whilst I waited. It only took about 20 minutes.

I can't find a web site, no mention of one on their business card. The full details from their card read :

I have my wheel repaired, my local dealer put me in touch with "ChipMaster". Repair done for £15, can't tell where the damage was. You can contact them on - 07812 729986.

Any comments on running in your Lexus. I was told not to take it over 4000rpm for the first 1000 miles. Has anybody else been informed of a running in period ?

Hi, mine is a IS200 Sport in Astral Black. Had it two weeks, got 800 miles on the clock now. Very happy with my choice.:tumble:

Can anyone recommend an alloy repair company in the Midlands area. Only had IS200 Sport Astral Black for two weeks and have caught a rim on a drop kerb. Not very happy !!.
