  1. Hi, My 2006 Lexus has a loud drumming or booming noise in 6th gear.Lexus advise that it can be aleviated by changing the rear differential mountings which have now been modified to avoid this on later cars, and sound proofing the rear quarter panels. My car is out of warranty and I am second owner, however, it has FSH.This job will cost in region of 750.00 has anyone else experienced this or is there any advice out there. afgilmore2002@yahoo.com Cheers
