lol i bet the staff loved him! Do you think that in general, Lexus are maybe not viewed as highly as the likes of BMW and Mercedes within the UK - and as a result, the sales people try harder? - not necessarily using the hard sell method but are more clued into the market and actually WANT the sale? I think from my experience, bmw sales people inparticular just 'wait' for the expected business due to their reputation and market share and therefore dont approach you etc... What do people prefer here too? 1. Being sold to in the hard way 2. the relaxed 'take it or leave it, no pressure' attitude? I personally prefer number 2 - provided ive been approached and know I can ask questions if i want etc.

Hi I am interested to know how you find the sales people at your local Lexus dealer? I recently went to look at a car and was quite impressed with the way I was handled. He showed me round all the features on the new GS and offered a test drive on the spot. Also, he wasnt at all pushy. Has anyone found otherwise? how would you say they generally compare to other sales people from bmw/mercedes etc? Would you offer your dealer any tips?? When i went to look at a used 5 series on saturday I walked around the dealership for 25 minutes and had to go to the salesman and ask for help....this i wasnt impressed with! I also had a similar experience at a mercedes dealer about 6 months ago.....are Lexus people trained in a particular way? Interested to hear your views!
