thanks for that i take its the main one that the down pipes go into one comes out as one before splitting in too for the back boxes if that makes sense ;) its just when you look at it there does not seem to be a shield round it as you get on other cars must be a jap thing.

ANY WAY CAN ANYBOBY HELP I AM NOT GETTING GPS ON MY SCREEN IE I SHOULD GET GPS IN GREEN ON SCREEN JUST DECIDED TO PACK TODAY RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF BIRMINGHAM :tsktsk: NOT GOOD.CHECKED MENU FEATURES RESET IT AND JUST WAITED FOR IT TO COME ON BUT NOTHING THE GPS ANT SEEMS OK HAD TO EMPTY BOOT AND PLUG THE GPS ANT IN TO AN ALPINE UNIT I RUN WITH STEREO AND IT CAME ON AND GOT ME OUT OF TROUBLE. ANY INPUT WOULD BE HELPFULL THIS SYSTEM IS THE SLOW ***** CD VERSION REGARDS KARL

just done the cambelt myself this weekend on a 2000 gs300 yes that pulley nut is a :tsktsk: .and a quote of £295 + vat from lex dealer put me off, its not hard so a bit of thinking later put my two foot breaker bar and socket on the bolt and the other end under the drivers side chassis two click of the starter motor and its off :D . yes i know what you all all thinking but what else can you do

JUST FITTED OEM SAT NAV (CD VERSION) TO MY 2000 GS300 DONE ALL WIRING BUT I HAVE ONE PROBLEM THE LIGHTS AROUND THE SCREEN IE CLIMATE,MENU,NAV BUTTONS ETC DO NOT COME ON WHEN I PUT SIDE LIGHTS ON ;) THE RADIO LIGHTS UP OK SO CAN ANYBODY HELP TO WHICH PIN ON THE SCREEN PLUGS IS THE SIDE LIGHTS INPUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE VIA THE MULTI PLEX SYSTEM BUT ITS NOT. THE LEXUS DIAGRAMS I HAVE IS NOT SHOWING IT AT ALL PLEASE PLEASE HELP

yes i know but some one had to buy one. but it did have some sort of jap engine in it but the nissan gearbox :tsktsk: never again am i going back +renault dealers complete :tsktsk: my lex well :D

hi all :winky: i am another newbie to buy a lexus. converted from renault thank *** have had all the renaults from megane to vel satis and the avantime,but i just luv my 2000 gs300 loads better and it will mean less time in the garage goody goody. anyway a quick hi and asking for help,i have had it just over a month allready i have fitted lpg,reverse sensors,hid lights,changed wheels the old 16"loys with balloon tyres just had to go :shutit: now on 18" rx300 much better,and the alpine iva-d900 dvd,tv,ipod,etc. so i have been busy new front bumper grill and rear spoiler to go on next waiting to be sprayed all nice and tasteful nothing over the top :D i have just got the oem sat nav system and asking anybody for help i will do it and i know whats involved does anybody have the wiring diagram for these units its from a 99 gs300 need them quite quick please please let me know. karl
