Hi. Been monitoring the site for a few months and decided I should send a big thanks to all those (especially Jamboo) who have posted info and tips re the new IS. I have managed to suprise the dealer here in Perth, Western Australia about disablement of stability control and the seat belt off chime! They had no idea! My IS250 in Smokey Granite Mica is SWEET :P (even with a dodgy drivers seat. Looking to upsize the old man 16 inc rims but no options are offered by Lexus Aust. After-market 18's they shall be then. Hey RAP03. I have the same issue with the drivers seat in my Dec delivered IS 250 Prestige. Every corner, under brakes and when entering/exiting the car creates an orchestra of creaks, squeaks and groans. I have brought it to the attention of the ONLY lexus dealer in the whole of Western Australia (choice of dealers is not an option for the 2.1million people who live here!) who said they would look into it when the car receives its new seat belt assemblies. (This has also locked on 3 occassions!). It is nice to know that your dealer is at least treating the issue seriously. I will pursue the matter more vigorously and post the results. I do love my new car though!
