  1. thanks IRLrs, just had a thought... there probably isnt an Idle speed control valve on the beams engine, like there was on the mr2 -instead throttle control (stepper) motor does the same job ? just guessing
  2. Sorry yeah confusing...my profile says is200, but its actually a Rs200 z manual (3s-ge)
  3. Hi Guys, Could anyone tell me where to find the MAF sensor and Idle control valve on the Altezza? as the car is idling rough and has a tendancy to stall when hot,so thought i'd give them a clean first pictures would be cool if possible. Help appreciated.....
  4. Have exactly the same problem with water gathering here, also on the left while the right side is dry. I dont have a sunroof so i doubt its that, my guess is that its either a bad seal on the rear window or could be petrol cap like somebody else said...very hard to tell with water leaks though, i havent solved it yet- so any ideas welcome!
  5. thanks guys i have PM'd Tony to see what he thinks
  6. Does anyone know whether the camber/ caster/ tracking settings are the same on an altezza as on an IS200? Where could i get these settings?
  7. Thanks for replies... Of course i realise the rs200 is special (superior in fact! :D sorry lexus owners!) unfortunately i dont know anyone with either an is200 or rs200 so if i drove one i might know whether its a 'normal' sensation i'm feeling, maybe i'll call into a dealers or go to kerry for the day! i've had the rear subframe, upper and lower arms, bearing, drop link, wheel- all replaced on one side(these had to be done), so i'm paranoid there's something else wrong. It has been suggested here that the lower ball joints can cause a similar effect....
  8. Hi guys, After recently coverting to a lexus (well rs200) from an toyota mr2 i'm finding the rear of the car very jumpy over bumps etc in the road. The only way i can describe it is the car kind of 'kicks', and its worse when you're accelerating. The car had an accident on the rear o/s but most of the parts have been changed. I also recently laser tracked the wheels , but yet this strange and unnerving behaviour continues. Is this normal for the is200??
